On my previous post on this thread (4-21-11) I was 10 weeks and 33 lbs AVG 3.3 lbs/wk. Now I am 15 weeks and 46 lbs AVG 3.07 lbs/wk.

It's fun to see how far we have all come!

Been on IP for 2 1/2 weeks, Week 1 lost 6 lbs and Week 2 1/2 lost 1 lbs.

My coach said that focus shouldnt just be on pounds lost as Lock mentioned above but also how you feel about your body and how your clothes fit and also inches lost.

Is this true?

Tuesday was my 1st weigh in, after a week I had lost 6lbs and inches too!

Congrats BlueAndWhite!!! I have similar goals and just started IP again. Hope i can do it at the same pace as yours! do you have a weekly breakdown of your weight loss.

I think my first 3 weeks were 6,3,6. After that, 2 or 3 lbs per week with an occasional 4 (usually after TOM), and a couple of weeks it was just one lb. Not everyone has a big loss the first week, but either way, a 3 pound per week average is typical, which is what mine worked out to.

I did have problems with 'C' as well, and just took whatever I had to to deal with it. calm is a good choice, also vit. C, sea salt water flush if you're desperate.

Advice? It was really hard for the first couple of weeks, but by the end of week 3, I had lost 17 pounds, and I really knew it was going to work FOR ME. After that, it wasnt really fun, but it got easier to keep at it. Check in here often - there's so much help & encouragement here!

IP is one of the best things I've ever done for myself. When it gets rough, just remember that you're worth it!! :hug:
