When I started I was given an introduction bag filled with lots of different IP items -week one I spent sampling items and deciding what I liked and didn't like. After the first week I was able to choose what I wanted. This worked well for me because it forced me to try things I never would have tried on my own and surprisingly I liked most of them (even the ones I didn't think I would like)
I was given the bag. I like that I get to sample things without having to buy a whole box because I would have wound up with a box of that nasty chicken soup. The soups are my last favorite.
We got to choose which packets we wanted. it helped that we knew people already on IP that gave us a heads up on which ones they liked. We've tried most every packet and like most of them. Not too crazy about the chocolate pudding, though

I like the soups myself (but I am a savory food lover) - I think for them to be good you need to add more water then instructed on the package (I use 9-10oz) add a cup of roasted veggies to them (I like mushrooms, asparagus and cauliflower in the mushroom soup and kale, spinach, zucchini and mushrooms in the chicken soup) This is an easy way to eat one cup of your 2 required cups of veggies. I like the omelet for that reason as well -- easy to eat my veggies -- often I eat the omelet for lunch. For me I have to have variety - so I buy more product then I need just so i have options. Week one is full of lots of challenges and surprises --kind of like life amplified
He did not even take my weight officegirl just sold the packets and gave two sheets of paper - never went back ! He just explained overall the program and took the money of course...

Did you get a set menu or did you get to pick and choose?
I was able to choose, and also able to return unopened envelopes and exchange them for something else. Was also given a 1 page phase 1 guideline sheet for the 3 meals and 1 snack. will enter it if you want. What were you given? On the second week they gave me aprox 20 sheets of recipes and the sheet w all the nutritional value of regular and restricted IP foods. lovin' this site and all the info. Good luck to everyone. bye for now. Oh, they gave several handouts about side effects ex:headaches, fatigue, etc and what to do about them. I've put it all in a 3 ring binder w plastic sheets for easy reference.
I was given a packet with roughly 25 different products.. Most of which I liked.. I now buy what I want and like many others, I buy more than what I need, so I can have a variety. I am going into week 3 and am still not allowed restricted..
I have only been on this since wed, my third day here, but I got a starter bag, with enough for 4 packs a day plus a snack. The next time I can pick out what I want on an order form she gave me. The place I go to is at a gym for women called Swann. So I drop off the list when I exercise and it will be ready when I am done. There are WF products there as well, I bought the balsmic dressing, loved it, and also the bbq, nice smokey flavour.
I went to Alliance Healing Arts in Seattle. A Chiropractor clinic. I went there for information, but was at such a low point I knew I was going to sign up. They asked me questions, went over the plan and I told them let's get going. They took my measurements, weighed me and showed me the product shelf. I did the best I could picking the products, and they told me about restricted items and the required supplements and sea salt. I left with food and a folder of information to get started. I have a time each Wednesday morning I go in and get weighed and measured. I like both the coaches and the receptionist, they are all very helpful and have done the diet themselves.

Hi Thumper, if you could post the guide sheet and the nutritional values in the Phases sticky, that would be great. Would you be sure to date the sheets or indicate that they are "New Plan"? [Of course, I'm assuming that they are.]
