BACK AT IT! Okay after my two week hiatus....I am back. Let's see if I can finish this journey. I have 16 more pounds until my first goal, but I want to lose 10 more than that.

I was so sad about the 10 days the scale only went up, but hoping that after a month of weight training that I won't keep going up and that the scale will go down again. I am one pound less today than my last day of IP two weeks ago.

So here's to success....oh and I have my cruise in 3 weeks so that should be interesting.

Hi everyone! I am about to complete week 3 on phase 2. I am 2 pounds away from goal, but I think it might take me another week to get there, which is okay. I'm very happy that my sister finally decided to follow IP. She has no doubts that the program works, but was bit skeptical about the packets. She is a picky eater. Last week I brought her a few samples and she loved them, so she is in. She has to loose about 30 pounds and is looking forward to getting there before the summer.

Have a God blessed weekend!

I am taking my 5 year old son to see Disney On Ice tonight. Every once in a while I plan a "Boys Night" to give mom some time to herself...and with the recent baby boy that we had about 3 weeks ago she needs it! I will have to plan to bring some IP packets with me just in case. Hopefully the smells of the food courts and grills aren't too tempting for me!

Good morning everyone. After a relaxing day off yesterday, I have a FULL day of work today. I had my WI#4 yesterday and I lost another 3.5 pounds and some inches from everywhere. I love this. I am so motivated. I can't wait until my husband gets back from his deployment and sees the new me.

Well, everyone, have a great day, and weekend!

What a nice treat for your wife. I recently took my five year old daughter to a birthday party at a bowling alley. The smells and food there were incredible. The party had pizza's, french fries, nacho's....the works....

It was difficult, but did not touch any of them. A friend of mine was there who is dieting too (Adkins) and we are in a competition $50/quarter for a year. There are 5 of us total doing it. I saw him eating away and started to smell the greenbacks....LOL!

It will be tempting but know that you can have these items later after you have learned more with the diet and controlled your weight. No need to sacrifice the progress you have made so far in the IP program.

Be strong and enjoy your boy's night out.

Good morning my internet friends! I'm so excited...it's going to be warm here today!

Cut back on the workout last night, and decided to just peddle through the spin class at a low/medium tension. Not as much fun, but I had gotten dizzy during the last class, and I don't want to hurt myself while trying to get healthy! My coach and I have decided that I'll have a restricted before working out, so I get the extra oomph from that.

NSV! I fit into a shirt that didn't even fit when I ordered it (one of the teacher shirts we'd occasionally have made, it says, "If you taught high school, you'd drink, too." Not the best to wear when meeting parents, FYI. ). I was so excited, and my family noticed immediately that I'd been shrinking!

Poor puppy and poor Linden! Hope you've both recovered. Your move sounds very...eventful! I love that you're living your life and not waiting around for life to happen to you.

That's awesome! I like that your coach is actually figuring things out, and that you've gained muscle! Bravo!

That sounds awesome, and way to go on being a good dad and husband! I'm sure your wife will really appreciate it. I know you can handle the temptations tonight, and if it gets hard, remember that your son is watching and learning from everything that you do. He probably wants to be just like you, and you're teaching him willpower, a healthy lifestyle, and about commitment.

Just popping in to say Good Morning!

I woke up this morning laughing and I just had to share. I was dreaming of IP and Lindora products. HA! I was very excited to start eating to see which ones I like the best. I had grabbed a shoe box to store my packets, but didn't like the color of the box because it didn't my the colors of my house, so I handmade some wrapping paper, so I could wrap the box so it was pretty sitting on my counter top.

I read Svelting blog (you are a awesome writer, and I'm glad I took the time to read it) but I had to laugh about the newbie wack a thread entry... lol, to me that was just funny! I must defend the little newbies, as I am one too. This place is very overwhelming and I don't think many posters have the patience to read all this stuff. I too have went to look for information that I know for a fact, I have seen before, only to not be able to find it again after looking for 45 minutes. As far as the search goes here... sometimes it's right on, and other times if leaves me shaking my head. I know, I always go looking before posting a question, I will do my best not to wack your threads... lol!

I for one am gonna have a great day. I am a Caylee blogger (the case about the little girl out of Orlando, who's mother said that the nanny kidnapped her, but the mom never reported her missing, and she was found moths later, dead in the woods, just down the street where she lived) Today we are getting another document dump (evidence that is being released.) We live for days like this, as we have been waiting almost 3 years for this trial to start. May is not that far away now, and just imagine, buy the time the trial starts, I will have hit my goal weight! Woo Hoo!

Wishing you all a happy IP day!

Good morning fellow IPers!
I have to catch up on my reading (part of Wednesday and Thursday to go) but just wanted to pop in to say hi.
It's been a hectic week with work, and on Tuesday afternoon my sister called to tell me that they think my mom (who is 90) had a mini stroke. She just lives a few miles away, so was able to go visit for a bit every day after work. The most worrisome part is that she absolutely refuses to go to the doctor or hospital.
So, I missed weigh in this week (hopefully will get there today) and, though I haven't really cheated (still in ketosis), I haven't stayed exactly on protocol either.
My scale still says I'm down about 2 lbs, so I have fingers crossed.
