pancakes seem like a great thing to crave, even if you don't like them, since you can actually eat pancakes on IP. did you give in back then and eat the IP pancakes?
NO! Unfortunately, I had a for a coach. I wasn't allowed any restricted until I phased into a break and met a new coach! I went from November to July with only unrestricted packets, no occasional veggies, and no extra packets. I did substitute in some extra protein if I was having a problem but, my coach treated it as a cheat. The first restricted pancakes I had were by Lindora. They were great!

Never tried there but used to go to Charles Smart on Whyte Ave until it closed or Richards Donair in SP.

What I am really craving is some of my Nanny's pickled beets. What is killing me is I have 4 jars here at home waiting till I reach my goal and can have them again. I also crave a Donair, my wife says I should just try and create a recipe that would taste like a donair.
I just made a donair loaf out of bison. It turned out amazing. I had a lil nibble of of the end. You are supposed to let it sit in the fridge overnight! There is nothing in it we cant eat, i exempted the flour. I made the sauce, although i am not sure how it turned out yet, using RTD vanilla shake , vinegar, garlic powder and some salt ( not sure abou it yet). I was going to use either butter lettuce or steamed purple cabbage as the pita. Cut up some onion, pickle, lettuce and maybe a lil tomato ( have not had any since i started 21 days ago).
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). In a cup or small bowl, mix together the salt, oregano, flour, black pepper, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, onion powder, and cayenne pepper.
Place the ground beef in a large bowl, and use your hands to blend in the spice mixture. If you want the smooth texture of meat that you see in a real donair shop, you must do this in a steel mixing bowl and on a sturdy surface. Pick up the meat, and throw it down with force about 20 times, kneading it after each throw. This also helps the meat hold together better when you slice it.
Form the meat into a loaf, and place it on a broiler pan. If you do not have one, a baking sheet will do.
Bake for 1 hour and 15 minutes in the preheated oven, turning the loaf over about half way through. This will ensure even cooking. This cuts better if you chill the meat overnight before slicing.

Ya let us know how it turns out. I was going to use same recipe and use arrowroot powder instead of flour. I have a recipe for sweet sauce and for tzatziki that could be used. If it turns out post your recipe in the recipe thread and I will post my sauce recipes.

The sauce i made seems to not be thickening, as gross as it sounds i might try adding a lil vanilla pudding to it. I cant have the dairy from making tzaki or the evap milk sauce. I might see if i can find some soy milk....
my food cravings have been pizza and potatoes. i loved both of these before but now i crave them even more. when my family goes and gets pizza i tell them they are not allowed to bring it back because i know i will slip up.
but i was always a big candy eater. any kind of candy and now i don't even think about eating the candy or cakes or anything like that.

Lol...this is something my Maw Maw still makes. I miss the beets, and she cooked for us last night. Abstained from the rice, and ate her AMAZING pork and green beans.
Funny thing is, I don't crave the rice or potatoes that I'm used to. I crave crackers. Today I tried the crepe mix crackers, and they came out great, except for one problem. I baked them on wax paper. FYI, they don't come off the paper. Sigh. Right now I'm trying out chicken crackers with the soup mix, a tip I got from a Medifast user. I'll let you know how they come out!

My Nanny makes a beef roast and mixes pickled beet juice with horseradish it tastes good as well.

Ok so i just went out looking and found silken firm tofu no carbs no sugar blended it with stevia, garlic powder, salt vinegar and a lil dill.....sooo good!
