  • I didn't even think to reward myself! I was just happy to lose the weight. Now I've got some great ideas and a way to pat myself on the back. Awesome thread.
  • I hadn't given rewards a thought yet either...I tend to reward myself too often. I would love to wear skinny jeans, sleeveless shirts, sexy bathing suit, cute bra and panties (love this one)....A whole new wardrobe!

    But something different....hmmmmm

Not sure...last week at 50 pounds it was 2 nights at the Red Mountain Spa in Utah...awesome

When I reach goal....not sure yet
  • Quote: As we can no longer use food as a reward for accomplishments, what do you do when reaching those milestones? What is the one thing (or more) that you are looking forward to buying when your goal weight is reached?
Well, I've already enjoyed buying smaller clothing and feeling like I have more choices in style. That's already such a great reward. At 12 lbs to goal I got a glycolic peel and microdermabrasion to freshen up my complexion.

When I"m at my goal, I'm going to get a series of laser treatments to tighten up my face and neck. I've never done anything like that, so that's going to be a splurge!!!!

My really biggest reward is that I just went to Paris, did a photo and video shoot and for the first time since I put on all that extra weight, I just knew I'd be looking so much better. I didn't dread the experience. It's what got me to start this program in the first place, so it was full circle.

Love reading everyones wishlist!!!! Great thread.
  • What a cool idea for a thread!.. like Linden, I don't really need things... what I want more than anything is experiences... like the Caribbean cruise I've got listed in my signature... I'm also hoping to do another weekend this summer working on the Continental Divide Trail, like I did last August... what a great experience that was!.. plus, I'd love a weekend or a week or a month or a year or a lifetime with the love of my life (I've known him for over 40 years), but that's on hold for now... he lives about 1500 miles away...

  • Not on the IP plan - but just cashed in some bonus points I'd accumulated for a new computer speaker system. These 2 year old manufacturer speakers need to go!!
  • I have celebrated my accomplishments with manicures, pedicures, new hair cuts and colors. I'm also thinking of a facial, some cute new clothes, and maybe some work on my skin from the dermatologist. But my two biggest rewards will be to have a total knee replacement and then start riding my horse again! I can't wait for that day!!!!
  • Quote: I've thought several times about setting goals and rewards but in truth I don't really need anything. On the other hand, in two weeks I am going to have carte blanche to furnish a new apartment -- like buying a new house without any of the baggage (or treasures) of the old one. That should be treat enough for anyone.

Still, there is one thing I really want. For years I've wanted to go to a truly good hammam. Years ago my son told me there was a great one in Paris (two days after I got home). But Berlin, with its tremendous influx of Turkish citizens now has wonderful ones in luxury spas. It's worth waiting and working for. I can't wait. As soon as I get over this strep throat I'm going to imitate Preacher's Wife (was that her name?) and walk 5 miles every day, come ****, high water, ice, or snow.

  • A piano. I used to play, and when I moved out of my parents, I no longer had a piano. I want to get back into it, and I will, in 50 more pounds. Also at goal, a cute black or red dress and all new cute lingerie.

Between now and then, in 25 lbs, the Turbo Fire series.

Oh, get the kindle! It rocks! Plus, it's hot, slim & lightweight - just like you're going to be! woo hoo!
  • At 15 pounds (2 weeks on Ip) I got some home decor for above my fireplace in our bedroom ~ romantic candles and vases with dried flowers. I haven't set goals along the way, but I have treated myself to 3 shirts that were a lot more than I would normally spend on myself. My friend talked me into it and said I deserve it for all my hard work. (my profile pic shirt)
When I'm at goal a few things: breast lifter upper job, and my husband wants to take me to Vegas and swim with the dolphins. I got to see one in real life there in June and he would have taken me before, but I didn't want to get in a suit how I was before, so bring it on now! Can't wait, I tear up just thinking about it.
It is very different now not rewarding with food, but I love it because it is things where I can show for it now.
  • I haven't really done anything yet, but I did promise myself that when I reach 150 I will get some clothes that fit When I reach goal, I really would love to have implants and a tummy tuck...the sagging is bringing me down
  • When I get to my ultimate goal weight, I plan on doing a boudoir photo shoot for my hubby I did one for his gift for our wedding this past April, and he LOVED it! Thing is, I will have lost 45 or so lbs from the first set by the time I reach my goal weight soooo... along with that I'll get to buy fun lingere sets to take them in!
