S/C/G: size 18 to 8...75 pounds gone

Height: 5'6"

Default Newbie challenge Update 11/6

Okay ladies we are getting there. Only 3 weeks left to our challenge. I have become very strict. going back to the basics with only restricted items (I was having 2-3 non-restricted a week). I really want to lose 75 by the end of January so I am in focus mode.

So Foxwoods...easy easy....ate my packed food on the way down. Ordered a green tea around 8pm and mixed my vanilla shake with it. Had tea in the morning with my vanilla shake and a bunch of water.

drive from Foxwoods to Boston...ate my packed salad and mixed up a chocolate drink (IP) and drank a ton of water (stopped alot). Ate a filet cooked dry on a grill and dry asparagus for dinner. Asked for a side of evoo and used salt and it was yummy and satisfying. Then at the party I went across the street to Starbucks and got a green tea and mixed up my vanilla drink with it. I had 5 waters at the party too. Woke up on Saturday morning and had coffee with my capachinno drink. Home for lunch. The trip went off without a hitch.

I haven't stepped on the scale yet...will be doing so in a few minutes and then I will put the new chart up.

Thanks for everything ladies.

I forgot to tell you about the red velvet cupcakes with vanilla marscapone frosting sitting in our room when we returned (hubby is elite club member for priority hotels).. ....Hubby said they were yummy...not even remotely tempted, but here is a picture for you.

Hey darbs! I weigh in on Monday mornings so my latest update is as follows: 23 pounds lost since starting 9/27. Goal of 30 lbs by Thanksgiving! Thanks again for all you do! I may be cutting it close but I hope I can make my goal! Feelin' good about the possibility! Great progress thus far!

Darbs - sounds like you did great on the trip - wonderful!

I was probably a little too ambitious when I picked my goal for T-day, I have a lot of work to do in the next few weeks!

Good job...I think you got this covered.

I was too ambitious. The last two weeks I have only dropped 3 pounds total and I have been perfect to a T. I private messaged Avalynn and hmmm can't remember her name (something momma) and asked how they have been so successful....both of them eat 4 packets every day. I am shocked. One has lost 70 pounds in 3 months exactly and the other lost 42 in 7 weeks. I have lost 33 in 7 weeks...I am happy with that, but not with the slow last two weeks. I am added a 1/2 a packet to my day (I am going to have 1/2 vanilla shake before bed with a green tea). Here goes something. I will keep you all posted. I am glad we have this challenge going. Keep up the good work.

My update - I'm down 27 lbs now!!!

I'm glad your trip went so well Darbs. I'm going away this weekend and it's an inspiration for me to stay on the straight and narrow.

Kaarin...you can do it. I was surprised how easy it was. I am so motivated by the weight loss and I can taste the 100's that I just don't want to do anything even remotely off protocol. I went to starbucks and got a green tea and added my RTD vanilla drink to it and enjoyed that while everyone had beer. It's all good. Stay strong and know we will be waiting to hear how you do. Keep our voices in your head.
