I recently read somewhere that the body can actually make glucose from protein. glucognisis? My theory is that eventually if starved of carbs long enough our bodies may begin to do this and therefor not remain in ketosis. You may try going to phase two and then three and then going back to phase one again after a month or so. sort of a body metabolism reset.

The thought was that I was starving myself...I dunno why I don't ever get hungry. But I gave it a whirl for a week and it made no difference one way or another.

Thanks everyone for your suggestions, I will keep you posted on the rest of my journey.

Thanks for the advice.
I LOVE the Premier Nutrition shakes.. I have a whole one everyday for breakfast. I find it keeps me full longer. I always joke to my sister that my shake is the best part of my day. Tastes just like chocolate milk.

From Nashua Nutrition I really like the hot chocolate from healthsmart, I have tried the mint, regular and cinnamon and they are all very good. I also like their jello and strawberry kiwi drink (it is sweet, I just add extra water). I also really like the liquid concentrate drinks from the ProtiDiet section. They are really handy, especially when travelling because I just pour the liquid into a regular bottle of water, and don't have to worry about my shaker. My mom really likes Protidiets vanilla pudding. I was concerned because some of the products have 15 grams of protein, but I figured I'm making up the difference have a premier nutrition shake every morning. I typed up a list for a friend of all the products on the site that I consider unrestricted as well as restricted, and left out the ones that are very high carb, if anyone would like me to e-mail it to them. But make sure you check the carb count yourself because something I might see as fine, someone else might feel the carbs are too high.

I have purchased from Protithin, ProtiDiet, and HealthSmart. The Protein Wealth products (mostly restricted) are good too but I didn't trust the chocolate not to melt, and I try to keep away from restricted. But I compared a lot of the Protein Wealth bars adn soy puffs and they are identical to IP.
