Then we'll all say, "That makes perfect sense, Carla. Thank you for once again speaking with a voice of reason and diplomacy." (Or words to that effect.) And the use of hugging smilies will go into overdrive.

You're the best Novak. (yep, you knew it was coming! ;))

Almost all previous posts would get a "LIKE" button click or an "EXACTLY" click from me.

Here's my default text to put in as a reply to the question threads:

If you post in the daily chat thread, you're more likely to get an answer from them. It may feel a little uncomfortable just jumping in. But, it will be worth it. Come join us.

How to find the daily chat thread

  1. Navigate to the IP main forum
  2. Look for a thread called IP Daily Chat with the current day's date in numbers, e.g. IP Daily Chat 8/20/2010
  3. Click on the thread, read or just click to the last page
  4. Post your message
  5. Wait for replies!

Off to figure out how to automate it!

Hey you're right, I'm not Carla. :D I'll take it as a compliment that my comment might be as sensible as one of Carla's.

Way to go people!!!!! Whatever happens, the people here are the very best....so helpful.

I had an epiphany today....always thought I had no shoulders and preferred clothes with shoulder pads (which you know have been out of style for the past few years) WELL...all of a sudden I notice I'm starting to look like the hanger is still in my clothes. !! Whoot Whoot Whoot

My guess is when the weight started to leave my outer arms, my shoulders just became more pronounced. Every day it's something new with Ideal Protein!!! Gotta love it.....and I feel so healthy too. As the French would say "Vive la Difference"

A big apology to 6710 aka Rosie, and anyone else that feels their efforts have been lost on organizing the thread. I didn't mean to upset anyone. I was merely sharing an opinion on how things were for me when I come to the boards these days. I did not mean to be malicious or insensitive. Again, I'm sorry. I will continue to read the DAILY thread, and ignore all the rest unless there is something that really catches my eye. I guess that's the point, aye?

Being mean is MY job, so cut it out. :club:

But yes, the quick personal fix is to ignore threads you don't want to read, and they will quickly scroll down. And bump up anything you want to put back on the front page. Kind of like when you get a magazine and have to pull out all the inserts before you read it, so it doesn't keep opening to the pages you're not interested in... :D

(I assume other people "prune" their magazines before reading, but maybe it's just me :?:)

LOL, yes, you're correct, madam being mean is your job! You can have it. ;)

(and yes, I prune my magazines too, but then for whatever reason I still seem to always look at them from back to front)
