It's fine with me, slow or fast, as long as it keeps moving in the right direction. The speed isn't what is important to me, it is the commitment to life change. I love how this is changing my life!!

Yes, it seems you have the right attitude to be in our Slow Loser's Club! Welcome!

Slow Losers' Club

I just had a thought about this. Our bodies can get really smart about letting go of extra fat if there's a routine. In weight training, you have to increase the weight to continue to increase or even maintain your strength. To increase your cardio capacity, you have to work more intensely or longer than previously.

Maybe on IP, your bodies are saying, "Oh, it's 12:15, a IP chocolate ready-to-drink and steamed broccoli and zucchini, plus some salad with that WF dressing on the way. Ho hum, nothing to get excited about here. I can just continue with the same old comfortable low-fat-burning cruise control."

Do you eat the same foods -- packets, veggies, proteins -- every day? Do you always have your meals at the same times? I wonder if switching it up a bit to challenge your clever, efficient body would move things for you. As I said, just a thought.

It's a good thought, or at least I thought so when I tried it, e.g., had dinner for breakfast -- which I much prefer -- and some other tricks. It didn't work for me but that doesn't mean it can't work for someone else. It's worth a try.

I was going to volunteer to be treasurer, if you'll have me, because I seem to have a propensity for hanging onto the goods.

Sorry for not posting I was up last week and lost that plus one more pound so I am 182 !! The inch loss was nuts my coach could not believe it herself, I started jogging 15 minutes before I train and lost an inch from each leg !! '

I am a very very slow looser, this past month I have no one to blame but myself but I am afraid to think what I might weight if I did not have this forum to turn to.

I think I switch up a lot. I guess M - Th I do stay pretty consistent. I don't know. I'll have to give this some thought. Thanks for the food for thought (it is IP approved, food, right) :)

Yes, you are the treasurer! You don't have to hang onto all of the goods though, we'll understand as you let them go. ;)
