i've looked at the alternate IP thread...do the products work just as good the IP packets? Not sure I can afford it anymore and i still have 50 lbs to lose....just bought a house and 400 is steep for me right now..not to mention i HATE eating salads...the walden farms dressings are GROSS and a waste of $$! ive been cheating,,having bread and ice cream as salads are gross now and i dont enjoy eating them unless its my homemade taco salad!...any suggestions???? my friend says the Metabolism Miracle book is very similar to IP and a lot cheaper.
Plus her Doctor gave her the book.
i guess I am second guessing everything...i seem to sabotage myself..i know i shouldnt be eating ice cream but its like i cant help it...when i get stressed, i eat foods that i know are bad for me! i am motivated but at the same time i am not......i am so confused right now
I'm not sure why you aren't making your own salad dressings! There are a ton of recipes out there, they are so easy, and you get in your oil too. Also, you don't need to eat salads every day. Most days I grill or roast my 4 cups of veggies and I don't put them into salads. Make a sort of casserole or something with the veg too! Yesterday I make grated cauliflower (like a rice substitute), mushrooms, celery and mexican spices all cooked together. With a nice cucumber salad on the side. Originally Posted by kiki28

I make salads during the week for lunch occasionally with cukes, mushrooms, celery and my own salad dressings with lots of different herbs and spices, mustard based, or just oil and vinegar.

I tried doing the lower carb packets only etc. but it doesnt seem to have made a difference.
I'm a vegetarian too and I found it a lot slower as well. I do add quorn naked cutlets and other veg meats for my quota as well and they end up being around 5g carbs that I put into my daily rollup of carbs. I like tofu but I wouldn't be able to eat it everyday. I don't really like eggs, but I include them as a quick fix.Originally Posted by r101
Btw, im vegetarian, so i use only tofu or eggs for my dinner protein. I wonder if the meat eaters are not facing this cos of that reason or it might just be my body. I get very tired these days. My stress and sleep has been on the lower side, but its always been that way since i started the program and didnt affect me the first 6 weeks.I tried doing the lower carb packets only etc. but it doesnt seem to have made a difference.
I forgot to mention I take a biotin supplement for my hair and nails. It works great!

, and they have samples everywhere
. Talk about having to muster up the will power and hang on with all you have. I did it, I survived! no food, no samples, yay

) There are lots of simple natural laxatives, the one I purchased from my clinic has psyllium husk, aloe vera and prune powder. I take one capsule with water a few hours after my evening meal.
