Here is an embarassing ??? Anyone had Diarreha, i have had it for over a week and wondering if i am doing something wrong on IP. Any help would be great....thanks

I had dealed with this since the beginning of my IP journey. No big C at all for me.. Be carefull about it, because for myself it was so serious that I had to take a doctor ordered break from IP, and pills to stop it because I was so weak i was not even able to walk.

I think that for me, it was too much sucralose (splenda). In too big quantities, it can cause it. I've stopped using things like Nestea Zero (sweetened with splenda), splenda coolaid, or splenda in my coffee.. things like that! I still use the IP packet sweetened with splenda, but that's the only thing I use with it. I use WF products only like 1-2 time a week.

I don't know if you're drinking tea or coffee, but for the time that D. was not under control, I've stopped it ALL. Also, now I don't drink tea or coffee on an empty stomach (so I eat my protein before in the moning), and when I have diarrhea, I'm cooking all my veggies, and I don't use salad. When I have diarrhea for one time, I'm not waiting to see if it's gone the other time I'm going to the washroom.. I'm taking immodium immediatly, because we're eating so much veggies, it can be really difficult to have it under control after. I'm also eating red meat when I have it because it's helping to keep it under control.

I don't know if you eat rhubarb, but cut it if you have diarrhea. It's a natural laxative..

This is only my opinion, and the things I'm doing to keep mine under control, and the things to do that my doctor suggested. I have diarrhea about 1x/months, usually before TOM. The best thing to do is to see your doctor

And more importantly than your weight on your new scale is how amazing you look in your new pics!! You're sooo pretty! and thin!! :carrot:

Erin & Roz I went and saw MY boyfriend AGAIN Sunday night. He looked right at me and said he loved me. He kept calling me Bella, which I didn't get, but I decided to let it slide

Aoow thank you, you're so kind ! After showing me 155, my scale showed 158 this morning! ARG ! What a teaser :( I'm gonna trow it by the window, bye bye little fancy stupid scale :devil:

You're craking me up. Jacod is CUTE (hmm damn sexy but I'll keep quiet because he's like.. 15 ?) but I've always thought that Edward is looking like he smell bad. I'm listening to twilight, and I'm always thinking about the way he's looking like he stinks, LOL!

Welcome tle!! I'm glad you found IP and this board.

I'm going to venture an opinion, but please take it in only the kindest way...IMHO if you have a kidney infection, you may want to wait a few weeks before you start IP. The plan is not recommended for anyone with kidney or liver issues and you may do some long term harm. You might be better off waiting till you finish your medication, then another 1-2 weeks to let yourself recover. As a side note, you may also find you will not lose much weight as I have heard that some medications will interfere with your loss.

Anyway, so sorry to be discouraging, but your health is so important, I just had to chime in. :?:

I was thinking about this also.. Your kidney infection is bothering me a bit, because I know that IP can cause kidney disease.. If I was a coach, I'm not sure I would allow you to follow this diet.. But this is my HO only.. I think that Bevs, Novak or Showgirlaz would have better opinion on this subject.. ?

I know that alot of you are using the Pure Protein shakes, but which bars are you using other than Lindora? I'm in Canada and would rather not order on-line from the US. I've been looking for alternatives to the IP bars. I don't use them often but consider them a good treat to have on hand when I need a quick snack rather than grabbing a chocolate bar or other crap!

Yesterday at the Rexall Pharmacy I found some bars that have similar nutritional info to IP bars. They are called Slimdown Energy Bars by Jamieson. The golden honey & yogurt 40g bar has 150 calories, 5g fat (2.5g saturated, 0g trans), 15g carbs (0g fiber, 1g sugar) and 15g protein. It is sweetened with 18g sucralose. This is more like a granola bar though...I want to find an IP-friendly chocolate bar! :D

stinai'll use the supreme protein bars-watch out they are just like a candy bar, but very similar to ip bar nutrition! i like the caramel ones and the peanut butter ones, my picky husband even steals them to take to work. i think sandy's used the slimdown bars before

Probably. I use natural flavored NOW whey protein isolate with Walden Farms chocolate syrup. You can check out other alternative ideas and tips at this sticky: http://www.3fatchicks.com/forum/idea...deas-tips.html and also here: http://www.3fatchicks.com/forum/idea...phase-1-a.html

Come on now, keep the scale...it will only make it that much sweeter when you go in for your weigh-in and you really ARE 155...or less :D

And ughhh let's just be real now. What freaking vampire has chest hair?? Have you read the books? Edward is supposed to be gorgeous, and they went out and found the scrawniest, dirtiest actor they could. Bleh.

WEIGH IN #2

-3 lbs (7.5 total)
-1 inch waist (3.5 total)
-.5 inch hips (2 total)
-1.75 inch thigh
-.7% body fat (1.6% total)

I have lost 3.5" in my waist and NONE in my chest--the ONLY place I haven't lost any. I'm a DD and at 45 inches there, so I really need this to stop or I'm gonna start to look a little awkward :dizzy:

Alternative Products availiable in Quebec City, Canada.

Bars (restricted item)
Supreme Protein Peanut, Rocky Road or Caramel - Walt-Mart - 1/3$
SlimDown Almond-Coconut, Chocolate, Yogourt or Peanut Butter - Walt-Mart - 1/2$
Oh Yeah Brownies, Rocky Road, Peanut Butter or Chocolate - Pharmaprix - 1/1.50$
I've used Supreme Protein bar, but I prefer not to keep them in my house because I'm too tempted.. they are SO GOOD ! I prefer to have them before TOM, whem I'm really struggling with cravings.. I've decided not to have them everyday, because of the fact that it's kinda getting me an habits of having a candy everyday, and I don't want to continue this habit after IP. Slimdown are really good also, I don't like the belgian that much, but almond & coconut is amazing. :) Oh yeah are good, and the chocolate and peanut butter one are only 8 carbs, but be careful, they have more fat than everything else. I use them everyday because I've bought them at 50 cent.. so mostly to cut the cost... I'd rather loose 2 pounds a week at 50 cent than 2.5 pounds a week at 5$ ! Hope this helps!

Great work soon2be!!!

Ok, so I had my bridal shower this past Sunday and it really sent me on a 3 day hiatus from IP....I didn't go nuts with eating...but did eat all sorts of party items...I feel too bloated to get on the scale so will hold off til are friday weigh in.....

The one thing I did learn from this was that it felt so good to look good in my dress....the cheating just gave me more resolve to get back on the wagon....it was also a nice break from the IP food....6 weeks before the wedding...full steam ahead.

Hope all are on track....keep up the great work.

Maybe if you want to loose some in the chest, you can give it to me ? My little B will really love some of yours to add :D I've never understand how come I can be fat, but have small boobs ? WTF ?

Does anyone know how much milk (like oz or ml) are in the really small plastic cup that are given in restaurant, you know when you say ''yeah, I'll take 2 cream in my coffee please''. I don't know the name of this little plastic thing in english, and I can't find it anywhere :( :( :(

I know what you mean...I've lost almost 5" in my waist and chest, but somehow my cup size is the same (I just keep tightening the strap to keep it in place). That is one thing about this diet, we lose in weird places. I have a friend who did this and she started out a size 16 and is now a 4. She keeps telling me I need to lower my goal, but I keep trying to get her to understand my bones won't ever get any smaller and there is no 4 in my future. All the women in my family are 5-8 or taller, and extremely busty, and I got the exact same frame in a 5-3 height! So, on the one hand I sometimes look at her and think how great it would be to be truly "tiny", but on the other hand I like being curvy (which she is definitely NOT) and if I have to pick one or the other, I'll take curvy (as will my DH!):o

Hey there! You can find all the pre-made drinks, bars, puddings...at the DR. B clinics for a fraction of the price. I was really shocked to get my pre-mades for $12 a pack rather than $31 and I am certain you would have a clinic near you.

Good luck

Julie
