Here is the receipe: Big Mac in a Bowl • 1/2 pound raw ground beef, about 5 1/2 ounces cooked weight or 153 grams cooked * • Salt and pepper, to taste • 1 teaspoon minced dry onions • 46 grams dill pickle slices or 2 dill spears, chopped, about 1 5/8 ounces • 2 tablespoons WF Thousand Island Dressing • 1 1/2 ounces iceberg lettuce, shredded Brown the ground beef, drain off any fat, season with salt and pepper.. Meanwhile, soak the dry onions in a little water to rehydrate them. Put the meat in a large salad bowl and add the remaining ingredients. Toss and eat at once. ***I used ground turkey instead of beef and also seasoned it with garlic powder. And then I added fresh onions to the lettuce mix (did not cook them), rather than the dry onions. SOOOOO GOOOD! |

Isn't it amazing? I am on day 4 and I really have felt pretty good today. I have lost approx. 1 lb each day since I started. I WI on June 7 and if it continues at this rate I will be grinning big time!!! Keep up the good work!:wave::joker: |
First Day today
Hello everyone I joined yesterday and today was my first day on this diet :carrot:
So have to say on the upside it is amazing how I dont feel ravenous at all. I couldnt finish all of my dinner. On the downside I had the headache that didnt go away with all the salt in china so I had to take an excedrin. :devil: But all in all so far so good. I am at 147 and need to get down to 110. Its not a small goal so here we go |

Welcome, I am 4 days down the IP road so I'm pretty new at this too. Good news is I have lost 4 lbs in those 4 days! You will be surprised how much you will learn in a very few days. I've enjoyed exploring this site and have gotten a whole lot of information over the past few days. Folks are very helpful here and it makes it easy to ask what feel like dumb questions from us newbies. Read and ask questions and post the highs and lows. The support is wonderful! :wave::joker: |

This really is a terrific forum. I am really excited to be here. Thank you for the warm welcome. I am on day 2 and going strong. It is strange how already I feel lighter and less fatigued. The real challenge will be next week when i have to travel to NYC for some business. I hope to prepare for it in advance. ;)

Hello!
I have been looking at this website since last week when I started IP. After a couple of days I was ready to throw in the towel (as I tend to do everytime I start a diet) but after reading what everyone had to say it gave me motivation. All my friends are skinny so I felt like I had to do this on my own! I am glad to be in my second week. Its not as hard but I find myself missing my favorites!! I have always been the girl who lives to eat not eats to live ;) I lost 5.2lbs my first week and am looking forward to seeing how I did this week! Thank you to everyone who has posted good ideas both for food and motivation, they help alot to those who are just starting!!

Hi all! I am on Day 9 of IP and I have lost 8 lbs - today was my official wi! This is so worth it! I feel great, my blood sugars are stable, my mood is up, my energy is up and my weight is down! Life is grand!

Woo Hoo it is Friday. Ok, yall this is the time we want to slip up, but this is the time we most need to dig in and keep our eye on the prize. Have a steak, cook some asparagus with leek soup poured over it. Have a restricted bar for dessert. We have the tools to make even a Friday nite special...
