Morning All,
I have been lingering on the boards for a few weeks. After reading MANY post my husband and I decided to go with the IP diet, but using Lindora and EAS products. We couldn't afford the cost of IP. Today was our first way in and I am down 6.8 pounds! The first 3 days were miserable.. I had a constant headache and I was weak. Once I made it past that hump I felt great. Last night i resumed my normal spinning class at the Gym and felt great. Overall i would love to drop 25 pound.
I am primarily doing the diet to support my husband, who has a goal to loose 70lbs. He lost 10lbs in the first....
This is the best diet i have ever been on. NOTHING has worked this well thus far. I have lost 15lbs in five weeks. I'm on the low end of weight loss and haven't cheated even slightly. At least it's coming off!
I just started IP, finished day 2 actually... I'll be weighing in next Wednesday, and I hope to have lost at least 5 pounds. I'm sticking to exactly what they say, not "interpreting"... wish me luck!
I am on day 8 of this diet and lost 7 pounds in 7 days, i m not hungry anymore, but I still have sum cravings probably because i get bored of eating salads and veggiesbroc: every day ugh. but I'll be fine because I have to do it!!:

Congratulations on your great loss.
There are a lot of nutritious vegetables that have lower carbs than broccoli. But if you want to eat broccoli every day, why don't you search the two recipe threads for loads of different ways to prepare it and other vegetables. And If you haven't tried popcorn cauliflower and kale chips, you're missing a treat.
If you have thyroid problems, PLEASE cook the broccoli.
Congrats to you Skinnygirl on your first week's weight loss. Also, congrats to all the other "big losers." I started this adventure back on March 31st. My first week, I lost 10 lbs. I just stood on the scale with my mouth hanging open. I went back and checked and when I was measured the 2nd week in, I had lost 3 inches off my waist and 1 inch of my thigh. I remember thinking that Ideal Protein could be "the one!!"
My first week I lost 6.4 pounds and 27 inches. That sounds like a lot of inches, but I was measured in several places, was very puffy before that from retaining a LOT of water, and a different person measured me, so that could have made a difference.
