While visiting Richmond, Va my sisters family and I visited a historic home, Ashcroft, and were in the gardens. (my avatar pic) The munchkin is my niece. It was her spring break and the ENTIRE reason I made the trip. We had a great time! Visited historic homes, went to her favorite dinner places (kid has good taste!), had a girls day with hair/nails/makeup at a local salon, planned and shopped for a party, watched movies, held a party and, the last day, went to a local amusement park - Kings Dominion (location of my profile pic). It was SUCH a great time. |

Is anyone else confused by all the different "rules" that each coach is using? My coach is very straight forward...by the book. She uses the sheet straight from the IP Protocol that was given to her by the distributor.
The regular IP program allows for 2 non-restrictive and 1 restrictive packet each day. That plus the 4 of veggies, lettuce, the salt, and the oil. I not sure why some coaches are not allowing people to have a restrictive packet each day if they want one. Of course people may choose not to have a restrictive item and have 3 non-restrictive items instead...but the choice should be yours to make and not the coaches. I have used the bars everyday since I have started the diet and continue to lose on average 4 lbs a week. I personally would be very bored with the diet if I coudn't have a bar. If my weight loss slows I might choose to eliminate them, but again this would be my choice. On another subject...the Lindora bars (which I also use sometimes for variety) are from the same manufacturer. I agree with knowing what the being aware of the ingredients but if they work, why not save a bit of money. Sorry I had to vent....have a great weekend! |
So I weighed today... after the whole mess of food over 4 days LOL... 174.4...not bad!
My body fat did drop lower so psyched about that |

I think you can go to photobucket, upload your picture to there, resize it, save it back to your computer in the new size and then post it here. It isn't as complicated as it sounds. I also have a resize feature on microsoft picture manager software, it is a part of the microsoft photo gallery software package I think. It allows me to resize to a small web format. Is the dog in the picture yours? Is he a goldendoodle, labradoodle, or standard poo? I have a white standard. The picture of the red you have posted is beautiful! I saw your pictures just now!! OMG!!!! Can I say that again!! WOW, You look GREAT! So much has changed in you face alone! You both look wonderful! BROCOLA and LIBBY: :( Bust shrinkage! Me too! I had a fair amount to lose and have stayed proportioned but, I am right there with you. I so want to see a Dr when I am done for at least a lift! I have gone from a 38ddd to a 34ddd. I am not unhappy with size, I have always wanted to be a 32d (a dreeeaamm - I was a 32dd at 13yrs) so smaller is ok but, I didn't take into account the shift in address! |

1/6 cup (16g) Carbquik baking mix (bought at health food store)www.carbalose.comYou can also use the same amount of Maple Grove Farms sugar-free pancake mix (bought at Kroger's), but it would add another 1 1/2 grams of carb. 1/6 cup (14g) Now natural whey protein isolate www.netrition.com sprinkle of stevia 1 tsp. melted coconut oil or grape seed oil 2 Tablespoons water 1/4 teaspoon vanilla, 1 egg white, beaten with fork until frothy Combine first 3 ingredients. Add oil, water, and vanilla and mix. Add beaten egg white. Preheat pan. Use a little PAM to keep from sticking. I use the same pan I melt my coconut oil in. Pour 1/4 of mixture into pan at a time. Cook until bubbly on top. Flip and cook another minute or so. Makes 4 medium pancakes. Net carbs = 1 1/2 g.; protein = 22 1/2 g. Serve with your favorite no-carb syrup or topping. __________________ You can also make a chocolate cake similar to angel food cake using the above recipe, plus adding 1/2 Tablespoon baking cocoa and reducing the water to 1 Tablespoon. Spray a Pyrex ramekin or microwavable large coffee cup with PAM. Pour batter in cup. Microwave for 1 minute. Let sit for 5 minutes. Top with Walden Farms caramel dip or topping of your choice. The cocoa adds 1 carb gram. |

WOW!!! How long have you been on the diet again??? You are flying through the pounds? What are you doing for a typical week? What do you think is helping you most? |

Without ketosis this is a starvation diet as we are only consuming about 700ish calories per day and that's not what IP is advocating - so in order to combat that, coaches are now being told to recommend that in the beginning to get deep in to ketosis clients should avoid restricted items, and after a few weeks they are allowed to have a couple a week as a treat. That's where the variation comes from. Also, IP is doing regional training sessions to try to standardize the care clients are receiving and the information they are being given :) |
