5 creative ways to lose weight.
The Rule of 3: Ever feel overwhelmed by how much weight you have to lose? Use the rule of 3. Take each thing you do and do it for 3 days. Once you have met the 3 days start over for another 3 days. Keep that in rotation until it becomes a lifestyle.
Staying Motivated With A Bet: Sometimes it's hard to stay on track with your weight loss goals. Joining a step bet is a great way to hold yourself accountable to working out when you’re first getting started. I used step bets for 3 months in a row while I was pre-op and more nights than not I didn’t want to get on the treadmill or go for a walk, but I did, because I had $40 on the line if I didn’t meet my goals!
Stop Cravings By Brushing Your Teeth: We all get those late-night cravings. I brush my teeth when it is later in the day, and that keeps me from snacking at night after I put my daughter to bed. In a perfect world, I do not eat after 7:30 PM, but when those feelings come, I brush my teeth and call it a day.
Sugar-Free Jello: Sometimes you gotta eat something when you are craving sweets! Sugar-free jelly and flavored mineral water are great options to curb cravings.
Share Your Story: The best way to lose weight is by being accountable to someone. There's no easier way to do this than starting your own blog or social media page. I am sharing my story, even the hardest parts, with strangers and I have to show up for them too. You never know who’s watching you and who needs to see your story, so they can keep going themselves.
