Weight loss is a tough journey. I've struggled in finding the perfect balance all my life. And even now, I still always make sure that I'm working just as hard as I did when I finally waved the white flag and said I was done. I surrendered and accepted that my continuous battle with my old habits had to end. Armed with the support of my husband and my determination, I can finally say that I am where I've always wanted to be.
Here's my original goal post.

Now here I am 1 1/2 years later. My weight hovers between 100-105, depending on how much water I'm retaining or how much physical exercise during the week. I still go to the gym, still dance my butt off at Zumba and still goes to Yoga. I took a brief break during the holidays from working out and enjoyed the company of family and indulged with food. Surprisingly instead of gaining, I lost a couple of pounds. I dont know how and why, but those pounds came back as soon as I am back to my workout routine. I'm ok with that. My body needs a bit of a break every now and then and as long as I stay focus and determined I know I'll be ok
These two photos are a year apart. And proof that I was able to maintain, weight are the same, except I have a little bit more definition. Its almost a year since we've changed our eating lifestyle as well. The husband and I decided to follow the Paleo Lifestyle occasionally giving in to our cravings and having some inevitable cheat days (i.e bdays, anniversary, etc). I'm not pushing myself as hard anymore when it comes to exercising, I've learned to relax and enjoy the journey.
Good luck to everyone and I hope you will all find yourself here in this section very soon.
