  • How wonderful for you... I do believe that losing weight will give us more years on Earth to be around the people we love... Congrats and God Bless..
  • Congrats to you..You look awesome...
  • I am always amazed when I see before and after photos like yours! In your afters, you look like you've always been a small person, but even in your before picture, you look like you're carrying the weight well. I keep thinking that I'm just "big boned" and will always be a heavy-looking person, that there's a not-very-far-away limit to my weight-loss, but when I see pictures like yours it makes me realize that that's just not true- you carried your weight when you were bigger a lot like I do, and now you just look so TINY! Congratulations and best of luck!
  • Loved reading your story. Congratulations, you look wonderful!

I always thought that too! It was such a shock to find that I wasn't actually big-boned at all. I'm actually quite small - who knew?? haha I still have a hard time wrapping my brain around the fact that I'm small, it takes a long time for the mind to catch up!

carol - What started me was the fact that I couldn't conceive due to my weight, so I initially lost about 60 pounds (from 260-200) in 2006-2007 and conceived my son. Fast forward a couple of years with another baby thrown in there, I was finally ready as I started to contemplate my future and my children's futures....I really want to be active and involved with them. I didn't try to lose any weight between pregnancies...I just was never ready I guess...but then something clicked a few months after my 2nd child, my daughter was born.

    Thanks everybody!!
