The fact that he has passed away doesn't change the fact that he was an amazing inspiration.

I was so sad to hear about Stephen's passing; he was indeed an amazing inspiration -- when I was struggling, reading his story helped me to dig deeper, and his practical tips have helped me so much. I hope that his family can arrange to write a book about his life and journey using his posts and blogs. He can still inspire untold thousands with his courage and determination. Am sending up prayers for his girlfriend and family.

PS TO CHARLES ~ I have also read your story and found it very inspiring as well, and I hope that someday you may be able to publish it becuz these kind of truly inspiring stories need to be shared with the world. There is such a great need out there ... thanks for coming here and sharing your journey with us all!

It is sad that he has passed, but his story is truely an inspiration and proof that no matter how big you are, you can do it if you put your mind to it.

What a shock to read that Steven has drowned. I hope everyone who reads his story will use it as an inspiration to lose their weight and/or to maintain their weight loss.

Steven shared his stuggle with us. Thank you, Steven.

My deepest condolences to your family and friends. Another life.... taken so young... terribly sad.
