That is SO inspirational! My goal right now is not as lofty -- it's to run a 5K someday. But, I need to learn how to breathe when I run. I'm okay with the actual running, but I don't know how to breathe correctly, so my lungs burn like 10 seconds in.

You look fantastic Good job on the half marathon, I did the same to celebrate my loss and managed a pretty good time.

It is so amazing to be able to go ahead and do something that gruelling after being overweight. I can recall a time where climbing a flight of stairs would have me puffed out.

The body is a remarkable piece of engineering and can bounce back, not matter what the odds are stacked against it.
