Happy Monday! I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend and a Happy Mothers Day.

I did pretty good and lost the 2lbs that I had gained when I went on vacation.

We will begin our home renovation project this week, I will try to post as much as I can.

Happy Monday everyone!! I hope all you mothers had a beautiful Mothers Day. I did for sure, my family tends to spoil me rotten and I go right ahead and let them! LOL! Gonna be hot all week and I've got some serious spring cleaning to do around here. Keeping busy will keep me out of trouble and itll be hot and sweaty so I'll be burning even more calories LOL!

Deb...way to go on getting rid of that 2 lbs!! You are doing so GREAT!! keep up the good work!

Good Tuesday all!! yesterday was a bit off for me but I knew it was going to be so I'm not gonna stress on it! Off to bigger (or should I say smaller) and better things today though! Just finished my cappuccino RTD shake and already have 20 oz of crystal light/water down! Its going to be a great day!!! How are you doing?

Hi Melissa! You're doing great today!

I was kind off, too, yesterday. I did badly over the weekend, again, and then I was still very snacky yesterday (Monday). I do really good while I'm at work, but when it's 4pm-5pm I am total binge eater. I am always starving! I guess I really need to plan my afternoon snacks better or something. I decided to try to add a little more protein to my diet today and see if that helps. So for breakfast I had a strawberry RTD shake and banana, and for lunch I made a tuna "salad" kit with a can of tuna, tsp of light Miracle Whip, relish, and 8 reduced fat Triscuits. I also had some baby carrots. For my after work snack I'll probably have some hummus in 1/2 a pita and dinner will be a Lean Cuisine, salad, and veggies.

Melissa- What kind of exercise do you do?

Hi rebel!! Yum...strawberry/banana! I love the chocolate/banana and chocolate/strawberry I'll have to find me some strawberry powder! To answer your question I do the elliptical for exercise. I prefer to do it for an hour but because of a pulled hamstring I cut it back to 30 minutes. I also plan to go for bike rides with my girls at least 3 times a week but so far we've only made it out twice. Keep up the good work Rebel!! You are doing GREAT!!! A little more protein with lunch will help those late afternoon munchies!

Melissa- sounds like you are having some nice pre-summer weather. Out here in TN we have rain, rain, and more rain! Spoiled on Mothers Day- we deserve it! Your doing super with your exercise!! Except for tearing down walls, scraping tile off the floor, and hauling debris to the curb, I'm getting no exercise right now :carrot: Seriously, the stuff I'm doing is hard but not aerobic so I doubt I'm burning many calories. But, YEA for you. I will try to fit a walk in soon!

Rebel- If your starving--- you are so great at keeping track of your meals, one or two days keep track of how many calories you are getting in. Maybe not enough?? Just a guess on my part. :)

Good morning all! Its wednesday already! My how this week is flying by! Spent my day sorting and organizing my girls' craft corner. What a mess that was. Didnt eat great, and didnt workout...not a good day! But I'm armed with tons of fresh fruit today so that'll keep the munchie monster at bay. I did drink about a gallon of water yesterday the heat sure makes it easy. Hoping today will be a better day!

Deb....that work is a serious workout!! building up those muscles that are going to burn more calories anyway!! Way to go! Is that a job you do or are you remodeling? Sorry if you already told us I just cant remember.

Rebel...how are you doing? Beating that late afternoon snack attack? I sure hope so!

Hi everyone!

I stayed home today. I literally felt like a truck hit me and then backed up and did it again. LOL. I am finally starting to feel a little more normal. I still think that I will go out for a walk later, though.

Melissa-Thanks for asking about the snack attacks, but I'm still trying to figure those out! Thinking about adding a protein shake (not as caloric as SF) and a piece of fruit...maybe that would work?

Deb- I agree... that kind of work is very active! That's a great idea about tracking the calories, too. Thanks!

Last night for dinner I decided that I just didn't want Lean Cuisine, so I grilled chicken on my foreman. It was sooo good! I sprinkled it with a little fajita seasoning and topped it with some salsa. Something different, but tasty!

Dont you just love george's grills! I use mine all the time. I hope you are feeling better today Rebel. I really think that adding protein, however you decide is really gonna make a difference feeling fuller. Good luck! Let us know how it turns out.

I spent my day yesterday cleaning out the garage, quite a chore lemme tell ya. Was really low on water though for some reason, in the heat I usually drink alot more. Just couldnt take the break to come in the house and refill i guess. I'm off to get groceries today...I hate the grocery store!

Hi girls. Gosh, I come back here saying I'm gonna be posting and then I go an disappear. Sorry!

Today is the day. I had been making all sorts of excuses as to when "the day" would be that I would start Slim fast in earnest. Well for some reason I couldn't escape the fact that my face has gotten so chubby. Argh!!!!! :(
I am not one for mirrors, matter of fact I have been diagnosed with a body dismporphic disorder because of it. I literally don't see much in the mirror. I focus on one specific part on me, say when I do my hair that's all I see, or when I do make-up I only see that one part I'm doing. Almost like wearing blinders all the time, I guess you could say? Anyways, that's probably way TMI than any of you ever wanted to hear. LOL But seriously, for some reason today that blinder came down and I saw my whole face as a whole and what a shocker! Eeks! So I made the committment to myself that I was just going to do it starting today, there are no more 'in a minute' scenarios, no more putting off what I obviously NEED to do today. So here I am.

I'm headed out to run some errands before the rain comes. It's friggin 100 degrees outside already and I don't want to get caught in rain as well. Then the plan is to jump on my bike while I watch some tv after lunch before getting the kids from school. I WILL get some exercise in today. Enough is Enough!!!!

Crazed is still around, she's just trying something different. ;) Slim-fast worked well for me the first week,... but then I lost control. I'm trying to get back on track right now. I'm not doing slim-fast 100% right now, but I'm trying to eat a balanced diet. I haven't given up yet!

Danielle...I wanna know...did you get that exercise in? All its gonna take is that first time, and then I know you! You'll be off and running again! You can do this! I hope yesterday was that day for you!

I dunno what I'm doing this week, must be because of AF, I'm so tired and lazy this week, despite doing alot of cleaning and organizing around here thats about it for me. I did take one of my girls for a walk last night but eating was way off and hardly any water again. I really need to turn it around!

I hope everyone has a fantastic Friday! After 90 degree weather all week we woke up to some rain, we badly need it so thats okay! Keep shining everyone! make today a GREAT one!!

Good Morning Good Morning!!!!! Where is everyone, sure is quiet in here. I hope it's because everyone's out enjoying sunshine and taking extra good care of themselves. :)

So my youngest DD brings home a picture of her & I from an overnight trip we took with her class back in February. All I can say is: Oh. My. God. What a shocker to see my face ginormous and round like that! Holy cow I about fell over. Of course my daughter looks as cute as ever and then there's me with this humungous fat face. Ug. So there ya go, another reminder that I need to get off my arse and do this thing once and for all. There are too many things staring me in the face to ignore it, sorta makes me wonder how in heck I have managed to this long. Denial can be such an ugly thing!

Melissa, to answer your question, yes, workout got done (albeit a tiny one) on Thursday but that's been it so far. Hoping to get at least one in sometime this weekend.

Lots on the plate today. Kids all need haircuts (3) and one wants a serious style change so suspect we will be there for awhile. On top of that, got cleaning challenges going on here. I've got that antsy feeling where I can't stand the way anything looks or is organized. This could get scarey and take me weeks to finish if I actually decide to clean out every single nook & cranny! Well at least it will keep food out of my mouth, eh? Silver lining and all....heehee

Headed to a Diamondbacks game tomorrow and not looking forward to having to squeeze my butt into a seat as I imagine all the seats will be small like only people who weigh 100lbs can fit. When I mentioned this to dh, his response is we could just skip it. Told him no, not going to have my kids miss out on something because their mom is a fatty. So we're going. Should be interesting. wonder how long I can "suck it in"??? ;)
