I do agree that a lot of weight loss plans are focused on a scale weight loss...and focus on weighing to often. I think weighing in once a week is just fine-three times a week is too much-a healthy weight loss is 1-2 pounds a week after the first couple weeks anyway-so you are going to set yourself up to feel disappointed in your progress if you are weighing in too often.
My weight loss is going very slow-but I have more muscle definition, and my cardiovascular endurance has greatly improved...I have a lower body fat percentage as well. On a particular month where I lost no scale pounds, in measurements I lost inches in my upper arms and thighs from the strength training and professional dancing that I do...you can't always rely on the scale.
No...I think LAWL would have gotten rid of me not for the low sales, but for my challenging some of their rules/teachings. They would NOT like me!
I do think that there are some great weight loss programs out there-but there are also some questionable ones out there-especially if they are charging your $500 up front...
