Default Hello

I'm new. I would like to know which diets you have found successful. Is it enough just to reduce my calories and increase activity? Or is there something else new (besides low carb).
Thanks so much

Hi "Eight"! Tough question you asked there. There are, as you probably know, about a million different diets and weight loss programs out there.

Personally, Weight Watchers has worked best for me. But again, that's just my personal opinion. Any program where you "eat right" and get some kind of exercise can't be bad.

Sorry I can't be more help. But you just have to find the program that works for you.

OK, now the real reason I'm posting to you. I see you're in Lansdale. I lived there for a couple years. Now I'm just south of you in the Willow Grove area. Hi neighbor!

First of all, get rid of the word "diet". If you want this to be a permanent thing think in terms of how you are going to eat for the rest of your life. Diet conjuers up a point where it is over and we can resume our old way of eating. So if the program you are looking at is not something you can do forever, its pretty much a waste of time. Anything thing that excludes one or more food groups is not a good lifetime program.
