Welcome new ladies. Having some tooth ache problems and can't get into the dentist for two weeks. Ugh.... Christmas was great but ate to much and to many sweets. Hopefully I'll get back on the treadmill tomorrow. Everyone left my house today so I'm trying to rest up and get some Christmas stuff put up. I need to shop for some healthy food. Tonight is taco soup. Made with lean hamburger, beef broth, rotel tomatoes, taco seasoning, light cream cheese and fat free cream.

Hello! Just hanging out for a bit until its time to leave. We are having dinner with our daughter and son in law. On the way, I am hoping to stop at the kiln manufacturer near their house and check out their scratch and dent area. I am not ready to buy yet, but I want some info to go on as to how much I need to save. A friend called Tom to chat, so I am losing hope we will have time! He has been on the phone for 30 min.!!! (not like my usual quiet husband!)

Trying to get back on track with eating. I, like you Toni, ate too much and too many sweets. It sure is hard getting back on the straight and narrow, isn't it?

Catch you all later!

Hi ladies. Been busy putting Christmas decorations away and cleaning this house. Took me almost 3 hours to get the living room back together with moving furniture and cleaning floors. At least eveything is back together.

Ellen, sorry yout your kiln stuff. That is so frustrating. Glad you are getting a new wheel though.

Toni, hope you had a great time with your company.

Cptcrnch - Ellen gave you some great tips. Stayb legal. It really helps. Exercise if you can. Boards are slow right now but will pick up.

Shortstuff, welcome back. Yes we have all been here for so long. Glad you found us. Take one day at a time.

My SIL is having foot surgery today so waiting to hear from my DD. He will be laid up for 6 weeks. Fun fun. Have a great weekend and Happy New Year

Hello, and happy new year, buster buddies! We spent a relatively quiet evening in, and watched Doc Martin episodes until midnight. Its a British comedy series about a doctor in Cornwall who has terrible social skills, but is a brilliant doctor. Its what they call a dramedy. We are so hooked, we have watched at least ten episodes in the past four days. Its on Netflix streaming, but its also on PBS, and Hulu....

Today we have an open house to go to. The hostess is a chef, so the food will probably be amazing. I am just hoping to eat as low carb as possible. I have had a terrible time eating right and my blood sugar is not so great the past week. Will be very happy to return to normal routine.

We did not make it to the kiln place in time. They closed about five minutes before we got up there. I was terribly annoyed. Guess I will drive up there one day this week or the next.

Hope everyone is doing well!

thanks for the warm Welcome backs. I can't wait to get started on sb again. Starting today as 1st day. I still know what to eat and not to eat, but think I might just re-read my SB book.
Yeah I liked to not find this SB section. I had to search for it. I am glad you are still here, even old section has been deleted. I have found you again. Yeah.
