Did anyone see the Body Challenge on Discovery Health Channel last week? They had one last year also. It's like a reality show where 3 men and 3 women compete to get fit. They have a weigh in every 2 weeks, and they give them a nutritionist and
a trainer. If you haven't seen it, try to catch it. I think it's on Thurs.

Kitkat3NY 01-29-2003 09:28 AM

Hi all,

I'm happy to see everyone's doing well w/ their minutes this month! I really thought I was going to do better but I kept getting sick this month.

I don't think i'll be able to do any type of workout this week, i'm so sick I feel like a truck has run over me! lol

Congrats to all who are almost done, and here's a little encouragement to those of you who are still trying!

I'll try to do a little something if i'm able.

I'm also looking forward to February's challange, hopefully i'll be in better health.

Gringa, I did not include your minutes from Monday, Jan 27th. And I did this at home with a hand held calculator, so I could very well have made a mistake. Anytime I'm wrong just speak up, it won't hurt my feelings at all. (did I tell you that I'm blonde!):dizzy:

Jan 28th - 30 min

75 - 30 = 45

KitKat: you hang in there and get well, we don't want any punies around here. Your body is going through enough right now and we want ya strong.

GringaGordita 01-29-2003 11:33 AM

duh. semo, us redheads aren't much better. just went back and saw that your post was only through sunday.

so assuming that my original total was right, that makes -39 - 45 min cardio (1/28) - 90 min yoga (1/28) - 90 min yoga (1/29) = -264 (I think)

have been hitting yoga hard and heavy the last week or so.

FLYINGFIT 01-29-2003 12:01 PM

Good Morning. We are having no winter here in Phoenix. It has been 75 or better for weeks, and it was 82 on Monday. That's great for now, but it's not helping the drought we are having. And I see everyone else is freezing under a huge blanket of snow.
No wonder you are sick, KitKat. Maybe you need an AZ vacation.
I hear the weather has been particularly bad in NY. Hope you feel better soon.
