Default Got a ??

Have any of you actually lost weight just by eating as much fruits and veggies you want and portion controlling your meat & dairy?
There are so many diets out there and I am having a hard time trying to find one that is sort of like this.Basically where I don't have to count calories or points.
Any advice or tips????

Blessings!
Brenda

Fruits and Veggies... HOW? Raw? Steamed? Fried? While in broad strokes produce is lower cal than animal foods, the specifics of recipe prep and portion size eventually do matter.

If you don't want to do points or calories but are willing to do some portioning, what about diabetic exchanges?

i would guess calorie counting would be your best bet...eat what you want just keep it in your calorie limits. since most vegetables have next to no calories you should have no problem

I'd say to look at marilu henner's books, maybe look up portion sizes and keep your food to a handfull, instead of a popcorn bowl full of food. I calorie count and it's working for me, but I certainly don't think that's a requirement, clean eating can do a lot.

I suspect I could gain weight on an all fruit diet (if I could afford to eat as much fresh fruit as I wanted). Veggies though, as much as I like them, I know I would lose weight just eating veggies. Given free access to both I'd mostly eat fruit though....

Or Primal Blueprint or Superfoods Rx or Atkins. Keep reading, you'll come up with something. And go ahead and ask more questions
