Default Road Trip

Howdy,
Next week my dear family will be driving to FL from SA. We will be heading to Orlando area for Space Shuttle, KSC, Disney World, and visiting old friends. DW is not a food oriented trip for us. If we can bring our lunches in, we would be very happy to do so.

Our rooms have kitchens/refrig and driving will take 2 days. What would you chicks suggest?

Failure to plan is planning to fail is what is in my mind.

We brought bottles of water, that we refilled, and loads of snacks. DH carried the backpack into the Disney parks for the 4 of us. We ate breakfast and sometimes dinner in our hotel room.

Snacks included:
fruit snacks
granola bars
licorise
crackers
beef jerky
water flavor packets

In our room:
oatmeal
bagels
english muffins
fruit
sandwiches
cheese

I'm sure that you can come up with tons of other ideas. These are just off the top of my head. Sounds like a fun vaca!

We ate breakfast and sometimes dinner in our hotel room. I tried a low calorie frozen meal for the first time in a long time today. There are a lot of choices and can have these for dinner.

Snacks included:
fruit snacks
granola bars
licorise
crackers
beef jerky
water flavor packets

In our room:
oatmeal
bagels
english muffins
fruit
sandwiches
cheese

Continental breakfast is included with room. However, I will bring my Kashi Go Lean and almond milk. Get berries in FL. The day we arrive, I will have my shopping list made up ahead of time.

Thanks for the great ideas.
