Default What worked before...

I am one of those people that I guess fell off of the wagon or just got too cocky thinking that I could do this weight loss thing completely on my own. Boy, I was wrong about that!

Anyways, what worked for me about 5 years ago was the old Weight Watchers Freedom Plan. I had lost 65 lbs. in about 5 1/2 months effortlessly with the free fruit and vegetable exchanges and was I ever feeling great! Stupid me thought that I could burn those extra calories off and did not need Program and thus, I have regained my weight and then some having been so very close to goal.

What to do?

I re-joined WW after 5 years of trying to get that weight off myself and just decided I need the help and structure.

I joined on line and yes, I am down 3.5 lbs. and am absolutely thrilled but on the 3rd day, I felt really sick. I felt so tired and felt like I had the flu though I was not sick.

I do not want to give up so I decided to call WW and ask some questions. I had a hunch as to what was wrong...

I understand that the former plan called the Freedom Plan was converted into "Points" which I saw as a big problem since I know this as only "Exchanges" like the ADA diets. I also saw that the fruits were counted as part of these points not as before when they were not counted at all being a food that was free just like veggies are.

You know, I really felt rebellious. I felt really angry. I felt that my world was really out of balance because here I am finally mang up my mind to throw those darn M&Ms outta here and getting the junk out of my diet and now I am moody, nervous, irritable and feeling awful physically.

So I call WW. I speak to a voice who is listening and giving me the support and the motivation I need. I tell him what had worked before and you know wat I am told? Go back to what worked for you before and do the fruit thing like you did before.

I'm told don't leave us this time so we can get you to Maintenance and eventually get you to become a LifeTime member!

You have no idea what happened from then on...

I have been following what I was basically doing before and I know it is working. I feel great and I feel lighter not only in the physical sense but also, I feel that goal will eventually be reached.

I am so lucky to have found this web site and would love to meet you all and participate on these boards. The info is absolutely mind boggling and I see some really great home pages with a lot of wonderful imagination and pride.

I just joined this web site's registration and think this is absolutely one of the nicest web sites for losing weight, ever!

good luck!!! if u want more support, tr this:if anyone wants to make the journey more interesting, i have a msn site where ppl gather&set mini weight goals or "challenges" for themselves. for instance, the current challenge just started a few days ago,&ends memorial day. the goal of that is to say, well, lets see if i can lose 10 pounds by then.
