they were both really really good... I like Bo though, but if it's Carrie I'll be happy too...

I think either one of them would have been perfect, but I still couldn't help feeling a little disappointed that Bo didn't win. However, I think he'll still be a big star.

He was on Cloud 9 performing with Skynard! However, my other highlight of the show was when David Hasselhoff joined the two guys in the audience. LOVED it :) Unfortunately, I had been up all of last night so I was dead tired and kept falling asleep and missed most of the show. Too bad they don't show reruns.

I think overall she had the total package. She could sing country or pop or ballads, I couldn't picture Bo doing a Pop song even though he is very talented. I wouldn't be suprised if Lynard Skynard Offers him a job as their front man! That would be cool!

Did anyone else notice Anwar's hair? It was short in the beginning, and then long again. During his song with Anthony his hair was then long again.

I thought Mikalah was soooo funny! She should get a job as am MC, she was funny, quirky, and had just the right comments!

I thought Mikalah was annoying and she ruined the song with Babyface...BUT I am very happy for Carrie and Bo was a gentleman and will still become famous. I'm sure they both had the night of their lives...the Kodak Theatre, the fans, winning the cars, singing with their idols, it must have been an awesome night!

Great show. Glad for Carrie. I liked them both but was rooting for Bo and think this was good for him because now he can record what he wants without the AI contract. He will make it big. Can't wait for his CD.

I did see my SIL in the audience in Muskogee. The Civic Center opened at 5:30. She called me as 6:00 to tell me where they were sitting and what she was wearing. Thought I saw her and when she called after it was over I asked more and she said it was her.

Actually, Roxymom, Bo is still bound by contract to 19e. I believe all of the top 5 are. So he still can't record "what he wants."

The girl to the left of Babyface was Lindsey Cardinale (I'm not sure that I spelled that right--it's pronounced car-don-ellee).

Overall, I really though last night's final was MUCH MUCH better than Season 3's final. Could be because the contestants were better this year than last year.

I absolutely LOVED the fact that AI made fun of the Paula Abdul/Corey Clark scandel with their Simon "Scandel" parody!!!! I laughed and laughed!

The only thing I didn't like was the fact that they didn't really show the reactions of the hometowns when the winner was announced. I would've liked to see more of the people of Muskogee! I loved it when Ryan presented the new cars to Bo and Carrie--their reactions were so priceless (and genuine!).

I think both Carrie and Bo will go far!

It is shown three times here! I won't see it until Sunday but I couldn't wait for then to know the result. I wanted Bo to win but I'm not that bothered.

I can't get over this bummed feeling I have that Bo lost. I'm glad I didn't bet on him but I would have and yes, I voted for him. I have nothing against Carey...but would have loved to see a rocker in first place. My DH thinks I have a big crush on Bo...maybe a little! Bonniebelle, I didn't consider the teeth whitening factor...you do have a good point. My family thinks the reason Carrie won was because she's got the whole package...looks and talent. Well, I'll just have to wait until Bo records something. I love coming here because I take into consideration different view points.

I think Bo is awesome and quite popular, but I think the reason Carrie won is that she's more versatile. She gets the country fans, the pop fans, the little teeny-bopper fans, the guys who think she's hot, the girls who think she's nice, the teenagers who want to be like her...Bo just gets the people who like rock, which was obviously enough to get him in the top 2, but not quite enough for the win. But look at Clay and Ruben--Clay is SO much more popular, and he didn't win, so I definitely think Bo will do just fine for himself.

I was listening to the radio this morning, and the dj said Carrie needed to lose about 10-15 pounds. I was amazed at what a pig he was! She has this practically perfect body, and yet they want her to lose weight?! It really bothers me that all famous women need to be anorexic to be popular. :mad:

It was a great show and if you remember Miles Davis (I think that's the record exec's name) telling Bo that he looked forward to giving him a contract a couple of weeks back, I think that could've helped influence the vote as well. I too was dissappointed that they didn't cut back to the hometowns. They have this big jumbotron screen behind them why not have them back there?

I had tickets through the paper to go to Muskogee but my mouth hurt too bad (had teeth pulled) and we didn't have anyone to watch the kids. It would've been neat to go to.

Clive Davis is the record exec's name that will probably give Bo a record contract.

My SIL was at the Muskogee Civic Center. She called me when they got there to let me know where there were and what she was wearing. I did get a little glimpse of her as they scanned the crowd. She called after the show and said it was so loud after the announced Carried winning. Said the crowd went nuts. My niece was so hyper. Good thing today was the last day of school. Don't think she got much sleep last night!

Hey all!!

I was in the check-out line at Wal-Mart the other day and I noticed that Carrie made the front page of one of the tabloids. They claim she had an "affair" with both Anthony and Bo while the show was going on and now Anthony is "heartbroken."

I think it's too funny!
