  • And I nearly went off plan.

But back on now and all is good!

Phew! That was a close call.

  • I was getting worried when I tried to view the site earlier, but nothing! All is well now though. Phew!
  • The site went down?!?!

Do I have to make an emergency bag with chips and Oreos and Pepsi just in case?

I can't do this without you guys.
  • I tell you. It was down a whole twenty minutes. I just sat there punching refresh. It was even more annoying than the 60 seconds between searches!

OMG this is one of the MOST annoying things about this site!!!

I wonder when there was 20 minutes last night I wasn't looking for updates...must have been during dinnertime! I would have been calling the internet company, checking my wires, everything. (Just kidding...maybe...LOL!)
  • Is there a website that helps people with addictions to internet help sites?
  • I thought that was the IP section as in Internet Protocol?

Which reminds me, have you ever stepped into one of their threads? It's all gobble de gook! Phasing in. Phasing out. 1s 2s and 3s.?

I just quietly leave when I accidentally find myself in one of those threads.
  • LOL Ian!!! I saw you commenting on one of them and I was like, he's gonna get it now!!!

They are in their own world over there. And most of them never stray from their IP world...

LMAOOO so it wasn't just me, Ian !! I was curious to know what it was all about.. I tried to make sense of it gave up and decided to stick to the old skool threads !!

I love 3FC but some of the stuff on here.. like intermittent hunger strikes... Whaaa...

Yeah, the phasing in and out sounds like something from Star Trek. ;P

I comment sometimes in the IP threads when it doesn't call for any specific knowledge about the plan itself. The funny thing is that before I came to 3FC, I had NEVER HEARD of IP. But on this site it seems to be the most popular weight loss plan that people actually pay to use. Seems like it works for a lot of them. I just wonder if they tried to do it on their own whether they'd have the same success, or if they truly need the IP products and "coaching." I suspect they'd do just fine on their own.

By the way, I think that Ian's "emergency kit" is already sitting in a box in his garage, labeled "West Coast IPA."
  • Would it make you feel any better if I moved the beer into a Medifast box Joe?

It's part of my diet. Cheaper too!
  • OK Ian, time for another topic.

What to pack in our "ditch the diet plan, 3FC crashed so your diet doesn't matter" (or more like "Last Meal" plan).

What would you have, buckets of chicken? Steaks? Lobster?

Do you really drink on Medifast? And it doesn't matter?
  • Fortunately for me, I wasn't on here earlier. I almost always am, but I guess the internet gods decided to spare me the agony of unplugging/waiting/replugging etc.....I would have packed a pound of paparedelle, a quart of EVOO, a brick of parmesan and a homemade biscuit tortoni to tide me over until the crisis subsided.

Oops, I forgot to pack some fresh basil and a tomato in my survival kit. Oh well.
