Hey guys! I'm back after a looong absence - managed to creep back up to where I started, but I managed to kick my bulimia and I'm generally happier now than I've ever been, so I'm not nearly as stressed about it as last time. However, I'm getting married in a month (to a man who adores my curves and doesn't want me losing weight!) - and I personally want to be smaller for my pictures, etc, so I'm hopping back on the weight loss wagon for a bit.
4 days after the wedding, we move back to Tanzania, where I have been working on and off for the last several years, and we get custody of the two kids we are trying to adopt!!! They are so beautiful, a little girl Z who is 3 and a half, and little boy S who will be 5 next week. I've known them since they were babies and have just been finishing up graduate school so I could come get them - met Mr. Right in the meantime, who also fell in love with them. Now my only problem is how to make it through the next 19 days until my family arrives for the wedding!
Seriously, I have no idea what to do with myself. I've finished a ton of books, done all the research for our honeymoon (8 days on the beach in Zanzibar with the kids!), bought the kids' wardrobes, it's too soon to pack our stuff up... Is placing myself into a coma an option?? What have you all done when you had something really exciting coming up and had to get through those last few weeks of waiting?? I'm such a ball of nervous energy and nothing to do with it!! Thanks chickies!
OMGosh congrats on all that news! Adoption is exciting and good for your and them! Glad you found a supportive man to marry as well!
As far as getting rid of excess anxiet/excitment energy, I'd go out and walk fast which will help release the energy and help you burn some calories, and hopefully meet your goal of some weight loss before the wedding.

No answer for you but just want to say your life sounds so awesome! Congrats on the kids and the hubby!
Oooh, puzzle sounds good - and exercise definitely! Thanks all for your kind words I'm SO excited and happy, just need to get through the next few weeks! The sun has FINALLY been shining here in England, which feels like a miracle, so that's great - it had been literally weeks since I'd seen blue sky. Just 18 days to go...
