I'm a longtime lurker :-) Even though I do not usually post here, I very much enjoy reading here.
I only registered to ask this question: Where can I buy kaplods's book? Please don't tell me she hasn't written one yet! I read a lot of good advice here from plenty of people, but hers is not only consistently good advice, but also written in a nice and concise style that I very much enjoy :-)

I soooo agree. I don't think she's written it yet....but sign me up!!! If anyone didn't catch her post this weekend on what is really a diet "failure", you have to search for it.
LOL, aren't you guys so sweet. I actually am working on a book (several, actually).
I'm writing a YA paranormal novel (sort of like Twilight without the vampires - just the werewolves, and less romance - it's more a child-neglect victim story).
And I'm writing my weight loss wisdom book (that I want to write a companion book for - the companion book being a workbook/progress diary).
I may have already mentioned this, kaplods, but you should join Storywrite.com. The site isn't as good as it used to be, but it works if you need feedback on your writing style and grammar (which you don't seem to have a problem with) and other things like plot/character development.

I'm pretty sure that you did (if not you, someone else did). I added the site to my favorites, and while I've only lurked, the site has been very helpful.
I don't go to the site as much anymore, because it was eating into my writing time.
The support and encouragement I received here at 3FC about my writing has really helped me get past my usual stumbling point.
I have about a dozen or more started novels. Wonderful first, second, third, and sometimes fourth chapters... and then my enthusiasm or ideas for the rest of the story fizzle.
"This time" I have the whole plot outlined, and while I'm sure that I'll have to refine and add subplots to round out the story, I feel that I have a blueprint that will carry me to the end.
As for the weight loss book, I'm still deciding on the style, format, and content I want the book to have.
Kaplods, do you participate in NaNoWriMo? I do every year and while the forums are quite distracting the month long motivation usually gets me to 50,000 or more words on my novellas. I agree with the OP though, I'd buy a book if you wrote it, I often get lost in the wisdom of your posts.

Yes, for the last three or four years, but I've never completed a NaNoWriMo challenge, but I get closer every year. The teen werewolf novel I'm working on was started as my 2011 NaNoWriMo entry.
My goal is to have a completed and somewhat somewhat polished draft of this novel, before starting a new one for 2012.
