    First the Tigers take out the Yankees in 5; now the Cards take out the mighty Phillies in 5! This ought to be a great playoff! Looking forward to a Rangers/Cards series!

    That was quite a game last night with Philly and the Cardinals!

    Proves once again that $$$$ doesn't always buy championships...

    with the RedSox...then Phillies and Yankees going down in the first round...



    though wouldn't mind it if a championship was bought by my guys! ....been a while...a long while!

    Carp pitched a great game. So did Halladay.

    Came down to one run.

    This NLCS is going to be intense.

    It's safe to say these 2 teams can't stand one another.

    Last time they met the benches cleared in the 9th inning.

    This year Cards and Brewers 9-9.

    Back in the good 'ol days Gibson would hit the first Dodger in the ribs then Drysdale would come back and hit the first cardinal in the helmet...now that is baseball...

    this crock of waiting until the 9th then pushing and shoving is a joke...

    heck...those Giants (Marichal) even hit our catcher (Roseboro) over the head with his bat!
