My friend went to Allan Carr to stop smoking and it worked, she paid a lot of money though, i know i cant afford it then again at over £6 for my packs and i smoke more then a pack aday i would easily make the money back!

Today I spent the day with the kids in the kitchen cooking, we made biscuits (i didnt eat them) and a low fat spag bol as well as a few other things I was good and didnt pick while i was cooking AND I didnt smoke for about 5 hours which is a first for me.
I think its all about keeping busy in the 1st few weeks so that the cravings dont bite to hard.

Im will give up one day, just not ready yet

xx

i quit smoking 23 days ago cold turkey. i was TERRIFIED it would affect my weightloss. it hasnt, its all in your head, if you want a cig, tell yourself no, or "just one"...NO becuase than youll want another...same with your eating...if you feel bored after u quit (like me, i didnt know what to do with myself) than exercise, or clean...dont eat! You can do it!

I used Allan Carr's Easy Way book and I did quit cold turkey for about a year. Really good book but it didn't work for me a second time round.
Been off the cigs for a week now with the help of nicotine lozenges which has worked well so far. Only problem now is I like the lozenges too much.

Drinking when trying to stop smoking is also a big problem. Have a drink, want a cigarette. I haven't had a drink for a month now.

Just go for it and be tough with yourself. You've got the willpower to lose weight, you've got the willpower to stop smoking.
