  • thank you all so very much. Got a lot of different thoughts and i love it! After all the posts I think I may splurge on one expensive pair and the rest the usual $30.

I'm the same when it comes to shoes/boots. $100...pfff no problem lol

I'm on the thebuckle.com right now and they are having a HUGE sale!!!
  • I'm a have to see, I'm not one for paying full price I LOVE a good deal. So I will go to Goodwill and see who got too small or too big for their designer Jeans. I have found some good stuff and I got a couple Michael Kors and Ann Taylor Sweaters for $4.69. I wait til someone has a sale and I have a coupon or I go to the outlet mall. $30 is really my absolute max when I really need them and can't find them anywhere.
  • Quote: if they looked good enough I'd spend almost anything.
    Same here!
  • How true to size is buckle.com? There sale prices are "NO RETURNS"
  • i've always had really iffy experiences with jeans from the buckle... but for me, the buckle brand run smaller than silvers. depends on what brand you're buying, i guess?

could you go to a store to try on the diff types and sizes just to make sure? that would def help!!
  • I've always told myself that when I reach goal I will buy a pair of Paige Premium. I "knew her when", so it would just be "neat", but...it'll cost me between $175-$200
  • What constitutes a good pair of jeans? To me, levis are good jeans so $50-60 whatever they cost.I would probably wait until they are on sale though. But the last time I bought jeans they were on sale for about $18 so there ya go.
  • hmmm levis.....forget bout those. sale price of $18??? that is right up my alley lol

best to go to a buckle, if you have one within reasonable driving distance, and try them on. ours is a little over an hour away. this time next year i a hoping that is where i will be!
  • depends on what you consider a good pair of jeans? ones that make your butt look amazing? ones that have a label on them that suggests you spent a lot of money? and also how many pairs of jeans does one need? i have two pairs of jeans and a pair of corduroy pants. i can wear each pair twice before washing again as long as there are no kitty or cooking incidents haha. but if i was a mom, i'd probably need more because laundry wouldn't be done as often.
    too many factors!
i would drop the $60 or so bucks for some nice pairs of jeans from Eddie Bauer or for Levi's but only if they fit me and i felt great in them. otherwise what's the point?
right now i just buy the $19.99 garbage pairs from walmart and wear them til they fall apart, which sadly isn't too long i've noticed.
