Finished reading 'The Guardian' by Nicholas Sparks, now I am attempting to read 'The Holocaust Encyclopedia' by Judith Tydor Baumel.

I just finished "Passing for Thin" and am now reading "Angry Fat Girlz" by Frances Kuffel. Passing for Thin is about the author's adjustment to losing almost 200 pounds--a topic I can't find enough information on as I once more take my own journey towards the elusive maintainence phase.

Fantastic book! I read that this summer and then recommended it to all the readers I know. Can't wait for the sequel!

Lol I made a smooth transition from this book about the Rwandan genocide called Left to Tell about Tutsi survivor, to Lauren Conrad's L.A. Candy series.

"I Will Teach You To Be Rich" by Ramit Sethi. I've jumped over the "get your weight under control and start being healthier" hurdle. Now it's time to tackle the "stop managing your money like a 17 year old" hurdle.

I finished Room by Emma Donaghue - a fast read, I read it one day. First 2/3 are really awesome, thought the last 1/3 dragged a bit.

I've been stuck on the first Sookie Stackhouse book since last month. I'm at least 3/4 of the way through but haven't had much interest in reading it. I don't want to give it up though. I really need some recommendations for something new.

I just got my Kindle in the mail yesterday () and I got the Hunger Games. I was up all hours of the night reading it. Oh my gosh - I am totally hooked too! I know it's technically a Young Adult genre, but it is the best book I've read in a very long time. It's one of those I absolutely hate to put down. She creates this fictional world just effortlessly and it flows wonderfully. Every chapter ends on a crazy note, you just can't help but keep going.

If you want to try something along those lines, check out the Glory St. Claire books by Gerry Bartlett. I like the author's writing a lot better and Glory being a plus-sized vampire is pretty cute.

I don't really want anything along these lines....So I just downloaded the new Ken Follet book. Let's hope I enjoy it as much as his other two historical novels.
