I'm at a loss to describe this team.
Anytime you want to beat the Cardinals put a lefty not very good pitcher on the mound. Guaranteed to get a win.
Down 5-2 against the Pirates grrrrr.
I used to be partial to Bartles and Jaymes

Good luck in your freshman football season Diane....

Darn. We always have trouble with the DBacks and away games. I hope we can get it together for the next 2.

So I'm listening to ESPN radio today on the drive home.
Jon Heyman, spelling?, of Sports Illustrated has come up with a list of the 10 top players available next year. They said 6 of the top 10 will be be going to the Yankees. No ifs, ands or buts. Sorry I don't have the list available.
Isn't that awful and sad at the same time?

Rockies can't play on the road. We must have all of our games at home. Whatever.

Well, the Rockies were swept by the DBacks. Oh yay. It just isn't looking good for the rest of the season.

My gratitude to Sweetcaroline for staying up and seeing that game through to the end.
Yep, it "doesn't count for much" toward October baseball, but it helps me to remember that The Nation is still a team to be reckoned with.
