[QUOTE=Katheryne;3075437]I'm working my way through the Undead series by Mary Janice Davidson. They're light, entertaining reads.

I loved those books. I'm a couple behind, but I need to go get them. They are great for books you don't want to have to think about to read.

At the moment, I am reading Dune Road by Jane Green.

I am re-reading several augusten buroughs & david sedaris memoirs. so far I've plowed through Me Talk Pretty One Day, Dress Your Family in Courderoy and denim, and Possible Side Effects. Next up is Magical Thinking. i <3 them both so much. Sometimes, I wish I was a gay man, so that my memoir could be so entertaining. JK.

I'm trying to read Narcissus In Chains by Laurell K. Hamilton again. I started it sometime last summer..and couldn't continue because it had such a slow start. I'm only on chapter 4 right now..it's very slow, and it makes me doze off, lol. I hope it picks up soon.

I'm almost finished with The Complete Idiot's Guide to Weight Loss. I'm also reading the Song of the Lioness books from Tamora Pierce (adolescent swords and sorcery fantasy about a girl who is training to be a knight) and Mary Called Magdalene from Margaret George. I'm about to start Nutrition for Dummies.

I'm re-reading Agnes and the Hitman by Jennifer Crusie...flat out the funniest book I've ever read! Then I will probably re-read Lonsome Dove...my favorite book...its so much better than the movie. Gus's thoughts are hysterical!

Love them both as well. My favorite Burroughs books were Running with Scissors (the movie was so disappointing) and Dry (even though it gets kinda depressing). I read all of their books my Freshman year of college.

Currently reading The End of Overeating by Dr David Kessler, after seeing it reccommended on here a million times. Just got through the first section (out of 6) it's interesting but a little redundant.

Next I'll be reading another of Chuck Pallahnuik's books. He's my favorite author ever! Twisted mind, crazy random facts, and amazing voice. I love how he incorporates his descriptions in with the plot instead of just listing a description of the surroundings like some authors do. There is not a boring sentence in his books. While he is a "if you love one, you'll love them all" author, he's certainly not a "if you've read one, you've read them all" author. This man's mind just amazes me! Okay, I'll stop gushing now.

I read The Witching Hour, which, in my opinion, is an awesome book except for the stupid end. Then I read the next two books - don't recall what they are called but they are sequels to The Witching Hour and I thought they were 100% crap. JMHO of course.

Last night, I finished reading While I Am Falling by Laura Moriarty - about a girl in college who is affected by her parents' divorce. A really good book, I could not put it down. There are two other books by the same author so I am planning to get them from the library today.
