Oh yes, very much so. I mean not so much on post because there is American stuff there, but it is definitely strange being in another Country.

I can certainly understand where you are coming from Nichole. I experienced quite the culture shock when I first moved to England years ago, though you are experiencing it more with the language thing. It's amazing though how much our "English" language in the US differs from the English language spoken in the UK though. It is quite different.

I am a MARINE brat.. my father was a marine for 20+ years, my brother is a corpsman in the Navy, working with marines... and I was married to a marine for 20 years ... so.............................we are definitely a MARINE CORPS family... been around marines my whole life... Ooohhh rahhhh!!
