Then you are in luck, there are multiple books.

Interview with the Vampire
The Vampire Lestat
The Queen of the Damned (also was a movie)
The Tale of the body Thief
Memnoch the Devil
Vampire Armand
Blood and Gold
Merrick
Blackwood Farm
Blood Canticle

I am a little surprised that Anne Rice has fallen so under the radar. She was the Dan Brown of her day back in the late 80s. I was a huge fan of The Witching Hour.

Oh, and I finished Dark Places last night.

Wow. Definitely one of the best books I have read this year. It is unrelentingly dark and beautifully written, I found it compulsively readable. But damn, depressing. I would recommend to anyone that likes dark thrillers, but it was pretty disturbing on a lot of levels. The prose and descriptions were amazing though.

I was going to read Await Your Reply next, but after Dark Places, I'm going with something more cheerful for a follow up:

The Actor and the Housewife

Just read Poison Study by Maria V. Snyder. It was very good. I liked it a lot!

Glory- Anne Rice became born again and now - and i quote "writes only for the Lord"

I never could get into her writing style. Stephen King either - his stories are great his writing is another thing.

Hmmm, finished Evil Heart last night - not sure I like the ending.... I heard the author - Chelsea Cain - speak at a conference last Oct. She is as strange as the books! Have you read the first two Glory? Oh, and the Genius book is a young adult level - just to let you know.

I just got Necessary as Blood by Deborah Crombie. I love her Inspector Kincaid series. (Brit police procedurals)
