Man the Cubs came back and did a real smackdown on the Astros last night, 12-0. I felt sorry for the team. They had to be wanting to just get off the field and go to the hotel and eat and relax and forget about it. We now have ANOTHER guy on the dl with a broken foot. Will it never end?

Clyde: I do love to watch Puhols. That man is the finest player I have ever seen. He will definitely be first round Hall of Fame for sure for sure.

Rain out for me yesterday. So, doubleheader today. The Rockies MUST win! The Cardinals are being so nice to help us out, we have to step up and take advantage!!!!

Boston Press is reporting that David Ortiz tested positive for illegal substances in 2003..........story is still developing... Big Papi says he doesn't have any answers right now, but will get to the bottom of the accusations.

Well we lost that one. Not bad though taking 3 of 4 from the Dodgers.

I have to say I had a blast at the game tonight. The atmosphere was fantastic. Matt Holliday got his first homer as a Redbird and got a great ovation. Rick Ankiel also homered and the place went crazy. Just a great time until the 10th inning when in trots Wellemeyer, game over.

Gary thanks for a great series, we enjoyed it.
