Caroline there's still a lot of games left.
Don't worry about those damn Yankees. Farmtown is very addictive. Do you need any neighbours? |
John I-never-shut-up- Maddon... :blah:
Has just reminded everyone that we haven't scored a run in 29 innings... That would be last Thursday... Clydegirl... How do I get you as a neighbor... I know zippo bout this farm thing except I like to say "I'm going to my farm".. LOL.. will you p.m. me when you have a second... Anyone else want to buy the farm ? :bike: :D |
Damn Yankees
Damn Yankees Damn Yankees Damn Yankees Damn Yankees Damn Yankees
Damn Yankees Damn Yankees |
I came here today just to console Bill and Caroline. I am so sorry! That was awful. I kept hoping for a miracle and you could terminate the Yanks, but not to be. But, lots of games left! You can do it!
Rockies did well yesterday... or was it that the Cubs committed so many errors, we HAD to win? Either way, we'll take it. Farm Town! Love it. Sweet Caroline, if you want another neighbor, let me know. Clyde and I are going to be neighbors! I'm excited. :D My husband thinks I'm crazy with the "farming" talk. But, hey, it is fun! |

Oh wait... you won! Never mind. (I'm so conflicted though... do you think the Dodgers and the Giants could both lose? Ha!) Rockies won too. Tulo hit a cycle, so that was fun. On to Pirates. |
.
. . . Thank you for the support everyone... :flow1: I appreciate it !!! and I don't know if you heard but WE WON... WE WON... WE WON.... WE WON.... AND THE YANKS LOST...... AND THE YANKS LOST Gary... I can relate to your pain...:joker: Please know you are not alone during this time... :D edit: your snapping out it already I see.. Enjoy your games everyone :grouphug: |
:sumo: And its on at Fenway...
OLD BRAWL GAME (7:55 p.m.) :club: Kevin Youkilis has just been ejected from the game for charging the mound after being hit by a pitch from Rick Porcello. OMG... It looked like Youk was sacking a QB... lol... Boston.com says.. There has been quite a it brewing between these teams since last night, when three batters were hit, including Youkilis. We hit Cabrera on the hand in the first and he ended up leaving the game in pain... Detroit also brushed back Victor Martinez in the first. Rick Porcello also was ejected, he's 20 yrs old and left the field flipping the bird and mouthing obscenties :censored: at the Umps and Fenway crowd.... how cool..:smoking: Geez, while I was posting above our Manager got ejected... ?? for what ?? Over and Out from Fenway |
4-0 middle of the 3rd for the Reds :(
|
Caroline an exciting game tonight at Fenway.
|
A nice sweet win last night...but once again our closer gives up a homerun.
I know all teams go through a rough spot and I knew ours was coming....but....as I have said since day one... WE NEED A PITCHER!!!! |
Gary... Hey Manny does it all, maybe he can pitch...
I did hear that the D's are looking at Smoltz.. is that just a rumor ?? I'd love to see Smoltz pitch a couple of good games somewhere before he retires.. Poor guy had a disasterous game at NY then optioned next day... Maybe Clydegirl or Diane can 'donate' a pitcher .. I know we can't, our DL is a little crowded these days.... on second thought Bill.... I think everyone spent the rain delay down under.. I wonder if they 'have' to serve till end of 7th... there are half as many people and they are twice as loud... LOL Ta Ta |
Game and brawl at Fenway

Youk charged the mound pretty hard and both benches and both bull pens emptied. Cops lined the field to keep the crowd in their seats. Detroit lost their starting pitcher in the second inning and presumably were digging deep in their bull pen for the rest of the game. |
