Sending support

Operator - Ouch for the "missed holes." Ouch for the cigarettes. Ouch for DD's state of mind. Alas, a perfect storm coming together in your life can't be fun.

Sending supportive thoughts that you can find your path through this.

Ruthxxx 05-02-2009 08:59 AM

Operator ..... big hugs. I think changing your career is a great way to go. I did it in midlife and never regretted it although it was scary at the time.

EZMONEY 05-02-2009 10:11 AM

Once the kids were grown up and gone, I tried to change careers from a drywall finisher to a stay at home dad.....

Angie was having no part of it.

EZMONEY 05-02-2009 08:16 PM

Let's see..."I" was the last post at 7:11 PST....

EZMONEY 05-02-2009 08:26 PM

That Calvin did it again!!!!!!!!!! Great race! Mine That Bird was amazing at the end!

bargoo 05-02-2009 08:35 PM

Love the Derby. I tear up when "My Old Kentucky Home" starts to play. And I am not from Kentucky.

Ruthxxx 05-02-2009 09:11 PM

I tear up and I'm not even from the States! Dagnabit! I had dinner with friends and missed the Derby.

JuliaDH 05-03-2009 07:29 PM

bargoo 05-05-2009 09:33 AM

All this talk of pumpkins reminds me ., my vet told me to feed my dog pumpkin for constiipation .

Operator265 05-05-2009 09:55 AM

What is with all this yelling about getting up and cracking in the middle of the night.:tired: Gees, can't you people tell the difference between day and night. :dz: Oh, and thanks for the constipated dog mental image I now have to dream about. :barf:

(freakin Californians, anyways)

It is also very good to stop diarrhea and vomiting. The moment my dogs seem sick I start giving them a heaping tablespoon of 100% pure pumpkin with their regular meals. They really like it, too!

Wow. What did you put in your coffee this morning? Usually when I get an impulse like that I go and sit quietly somewhere until it passes.

So what have you been doing that you anticipate getting yelled at for, huh?
Come on! Tell! You'll feel much better if you just come clean!

You need some of Bargoo's coffee!
And I would not get dreams about the constipated dog so much as what happens when the pumpkin has had its effect...

I was up at 4 AM and out running at 4:10 AM. I'm feeling seriously virtuous.
