I was not that thrilled to pick him back up to tell you the truth. He was a .500 pitcher when he was here for 2 years. He was brought up for long relief...which is OK...out of necessity he was made a starter...right now, with his last 2 outings....I am taking back my disgust for him ;)

I'm heart-broken right now... they just announced that Jerry Remy will take an extended leave of absence to recover from 'cancer' surgery.. He made a direct statement to RSN that this was a direct result of smoking so I'm guessing its lung cancer... The boards are jammed, can't even get on to get details... I'm bummed... But you can't ask for a better place to treat cancer than Boston... Prayers please...

Oh, they were "warming up" all-right ;) But hey, whatever works to beat the yanks 5 straight! Oh, and don't feel to bad for Angie..."peaking early" gives her plenty of time to finish her crossword puzzles or hit the yoga mat again before bed.

OK......we are playing the Nationals, worst team in baseball tonight...guess WHO is gonna beat us and break the streak! It figures :) You can only win so many in a row...but...if we do win 2 more...we will play those giants...worse yet to lose to them!

I got to 2 of the 3 yanks games last weekend here, and I have tix Friday night...YAY.

Tonight is looking a bit rough at the moment though.

Kansas City are looking really good this year. They have really good pitching.
