mare--- I haven't made mine either.. I've been busy trying to keep this house ready to show and sell and waiting "patiently?" to hear about an offer we made on a house in MO. I want to be ready to go whenever my brother says they have accepted our offer. But I have it saved and will be making it soon. I HOPE!!

Thank you for all the nice congrats! It is so nice to come on here and have wonderful chics and two guys supporting you!! Thank you!

I heard she had those babies transplanted. What the heck? She is living with her mother and father??? Again..What the heck? Was this a publicity pregnancy? Was she trying for Guinness world record? Was she hoping for free stuff? The doctor that did the transplant should have his license taken away in my opinion. How did she pay for the fertilization transplant? One last final question....Who's the Daddy? Bill? Gary? LOL

Wow, that baby story just gets crazier and crazier. Unbelievable. I just feel so sorry for the 14 kids.

I have 14 ducks, and that's insanity... can't imagine 14 kids.

****, my Grand Dad ran away after Gramma had her 12th. She did it one at a time. In fact, she and my mom(the oldest) took turns having babies when mom had her first three. These Mormons here ain't got nothin' on a determined Southern Baptist.

My GYN about started crying when I insisted on a tubal after my 2nd. Gramma had 12, Mom had 5, well, guess the man thought I was gonna send his kids to college single-handily. Or is that single-uterusly. IDK.

Operator-- It is pretty here but you can't eat the mountains! My Hubby was terminated from his job back in April (it will be 2 years in April) after he had been at the company for 18 years. I think they thought he was to close to retirement (which he turned 62 in December) and they could hire younger people for less money. He was in the building business and was drawing plans for contractors. So we decided to use the vacation he had coming and go to MO. to visit my family and then on to PA to visit his family. After being gone a month we came home and put our house up for sale (1 1/2 years ago in April) and decided to move back to MO. where my family all live and it would be a much lower altitude which would be better for DH anyway.
WOW!! My Dad is 89 and I really want to have some good times with him and the family while I can. Guess I kind of went off on a ramble ---- but now you know why we are wanting to move to MO.

Thumbs up Another new word for me

Wow, another new word for me.

Thanks Operator for "single-uterusly" - I had to google it.

And found it!!!!!!!!!!!

It was used in a blog in December 2008 at a site with the in-your-face name, YouAreDumb. I'd quote it but it is in a yelling tirade using the word racist a bit.

I like your usage better.

I'm glad you have family where you're going, Karen. That'll help a lot. But, don't even get me started on companies that get rid of people just before retirement. AAARRRRGGGGHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!

Nobody knowa what it's about until somebody posts something that we all decide to jump on and chaw on for a bit. Then, you try to be the 500th poster. Then, it starts all over again. Kind of a 3FC Coffee Clatch for the mentally disturbed. But, what it's mostly about is me. ME, ME, ME, ME, ME!!!!!!!!!!!

By the way, I sliced the end off my right thumb the other day and it still hurts - not than anybody cares! Dipping it into my hot coffee didn't help. (I ditched the coffee and got a new cup and will change the bandage later.)

Do we think today is death day for this thread?

Smile 450 - Competition with rules

And the rest of us are here in a serious competition to be the last poster, which is the 500th poster or whenever the powers-that-be lock down the thread, which brings up the point that, as a courtesy to the other posters, kindly follow the rules, which, from time to time, are explained in detail as rapidly as they are created, much to the chagrin of some thin-skinned folk who won't be mentioned by name but it will be pointed out that they don't like being told what to do, which would usually be ignored but, in this case, needs to be taken into account since they have access to AN/FO and know how to use it, where AN/FO means Ammonium Nitrate - Fuel Oil, an explosive deadly enough to make the Big Bang seem like a distant whimper from the past, and which is one of those key phrases the use of which could get your name on the wrong list if you didn't mention that you discussed that substance in the context of a legal mining operation operating under the laws of the land keeping a bunch of people employed which is helping the economy of the United States of America of which I am a proud citizen.

There, I bet you didn't think I'd ever get my period.

... 50 to go.
