As to Operator, I'm concerned about her digging graves at night. Does she wear garlic?

Ruth Rotel's varieties of tomatoes and chilies are pretty common here in California but you can use any brand of tomatoes and chilies combination. The one with the lime and cilantro just goes well with her soup, not many ingredients in the soup (which is how we like it - simple). The lime/cilantro adds that extra kick. She does put zucchini in it sometimes too.

As far as OPERATOR wearing garlic....I dunno....but the rumor I am spreading is....her breath, from sleeping in her truck, could blow things up...;)

You are all the greatest! Love getting up to read! Wish I could be more humorous...but to stressed right now to even get my shirt on the right way (inside out & backwards).

(Reminder to self fix before going out!) Also just noticing the little spell check...hmmm anybody download that tool?

Slashnl 01-24-2009 09:50 AM

Julia! I have NEVER noticed the spell check until you just mentioned it. Wow. I am so unobservant!

Operator, did you get some of this storm that's going through Colorado right now? We had rain overnight... a lot of rain! My hubby's uptight because now we have puddles all over out here (I live out in the country). Makes it hard to feed the animals when you have to wade through the mud and water puddles!

Slashnl 01-24-2009 09:51 AM

Oh, forgot to add... Julia, anything we can do to help you de-stress?? Can't have you walking around with shirts inside out and backwards!

OK, let's see. I put my coat across the center console so I wouldn't get switches jammed into my ribs, and laid my head against my lunchbag as a kinda pillow/prop type thingy, then curled my legs up on the driver's seat in the fetal position(musta gone "breach" in my sleep). How did my head wind up IN my lunchbag you ask. Well, I dunno.:dunno: I was asleep when that happened. :faint:

Operator265 01-24-2009 10:06 AM

Slash-Gotta little rain. That's what messed up the haul roads last night. Doesn't look too bad so far. I had to take my coat off on the way home. But, I'm from WY. If the wind ain't blowing, it just ain't cold. Don't matter what the temp is.:D

Yeah, kinda the same reaction my X had when I told him I was going to be blasting. Then he started checking with his company about transferring to a job they have on the Arctic Circle off Australia. Seems he didn't think 8 hrs was enough distance between us for the next time he ticks me off. Specially since they're WY miles and I can do them in 3.5 when I gets me hackles up.:s:

Yeah, yeah, yeah. You just trying to get even with me for posting the pic of you in your bathing suit.:p Sorry dude. I've got about six of those little listerine keyring sprayers all over the place. 2 in lunchbag, 1 in work coat, 1 hidden on haul truck, 1 in pants pocket and 1 in car. Plus, a bottle of White Shoulders. I can't stand getting on the bus after work and sitting next to some stanky miner after a 12 hr shift. And it is always the guy with the worst breath that likes to talk right up in your face.:barf:

Operator265 01-24-2009 10:20 AM

Julia-Sorry to hear you're stressin'. Wanna come blow something up with me?:bomb:

What happened to the "maybe get back together" thing?

I'm just trying to figure out how you got ahold of my highschool yearbook.

Hattie22 01-24-2009 10:27 AM

Ok.. I give up..Where is the spell check tool?

That firemen recipe was soooo yummy! Thanks!

Opereator: You are just TOO funny!:rofl: I am concerned as are others that your regular or irregular sleep patterns are off. Do you really have a lunch when you are working graves? Wouldn't it be breakfast or dinner?

JuliaDH: Feel better! No stressing out! So what if you dress backwards and inside out. It will be a conversation starter for sure and you might even start a new trend. OH...That has already been done. Remember when shirts used to be made with the seams on the outside? LOL!

Operator265 01-24-2009 10:35 AM

Hey Julia. Remember this. And she's one of Y'all's.

Operator~ Talent with a lunch bag... HAHAHAHA

Thanks for all the dinner ideas! Unfortunately my bf had ordered pizza when I got home and I gave in. I definetely plan on trying the chicken tonight though!

Pipes busted at BFs parents apartment building last night, sorry I missed all the yelling and the ceiling caving in on the guy next door while he was in the shower...

10 outside right now

Celine kinda reminds me of MJ in that pic... scary

alinnell 01-24-2009 03:48 PM

Gary~thank Angie for the recipe. Sounds too easy!

JuliaDH 01-24-2009 03:49 PM

Thanks Y'all. Just trying to find balance with home and new job. Lady I am aiding has absentee hubby and daughter has own life. Lady does not have enough people hired to do the job and now is asking me for more than I am able to commit. But I am sad, when she says that she does not want to live, angery that her family does not put her as priority. And my family has been spoilt with me being home full time for 8 years. They are struggling with me being gone 3 hrs here and there thru the day and most of the weekend etc. Just keep up the funnys then I will have something to look foward too! And that is the end of my downer post!
