I had to campaign hard for this one, but rather than spend too much on gifts this year, we have opted for a camping, bed and breakfast trip down the coast (from Mendocino Co. Ca) to San Diego, Ca. for this Christmas. So, definitely the sun...which helps with SAD, which I suffer from in the winter. The kids are grown or nearly so and the tree and all it's glitter have lost their charisma. I so need to drive out of the cold and the rain that is coming...although, we haven't had enough this year.

Egg nog with brandy or Bailey's and cream?

I mean, we are getting into the spirit, right?
