Actually I have been meaning to ask you something, would you mind turning your head so I can see the other side? I want to check your ear.

Don't miss: http://www.comboverthemovie.com/

I believe we saw this on tv about a year ago.

Well Colorado D, I was married for all of the 80's.....although she moved out in Oct. of 89....so I wasn't looking at women...both of us had long straight black hair then.

Thank-you BILL!

Wondering about a comb over. Do they make men look younger?

[Note to self: Be open minded on a public board - someone may be a fan.]

I am collecting so much golden retriever hair I am beginning to wonder what I would look like as a blonde.

As you like, LOL, BillBlueEyes

But it was a cold day so hair's not visible under the fur hat.

Slashnl 12-10-2008 08:37 AM

Good one, Bill.

My 14 yo daughter told me that there are a couple of boys at school who shaved their legs, too. Is this a new trend? Bill, Gary... what do you think? Need new razors?

ForeverLove 12-10-2008 09:37 AM

haha in highschool my boyfriend shaved his legs...just from like below the knees to the ankle...he claims it was for football...it was still creepy. kind of looked like he was wearing the worlds most awful pair of shorts...

But I notice a bandage on your ear.......feeling despondent lately ?

BillBlueEyes 12-10-2008 08:20 PM

That's one small ear lobe for a man ...

Alas, I've been to the Senior Prom, and aren't working that hard on my hotness factor lately. If it's a trend, I missed it. Gary, on the other hand, lives in the land where trends originate. Look forward to his response.

Not that's just a bit personal, but here's the real story. I thought that Rachel collected body parts, which was why I gave her my ear lobe to keep, with the admonition, "Guard this object carefully." People have said some nasty things about Rachel, which aren't true. A girl has a right to make a living best she can, and I loved her, I mean, as much as I loved anyone. Except of course Theo.

BillBlueEyes 12-10-2008 08:24 PM

330 ...

170 to go.

Now, back to the topic of this thread (which isn't food porn, or vampires, or the shaving of legs). I might note that none of my responses above were on topic.

And where is Operator while all this horseplay is consuming bandwidth? Hath she no responsibility for staying on path?

[Note to self: you'd be more compelling if you could remember the topic.]

srmb60 12-10-2008 08:27 PM

Is there a path?

One Big Truck

Which reminds me, Dis lady drives a big one:Canadian operators earn $100,000
Quote:

At just over 620 tonnes, the Caterpillar 797B is the largest truck in the world, with tyres as tall as two men and as heavy as a bus. The digger is seven storeys high and its shovel can lift 100 tonnes a scoop.

"Driving one of these is like driving a pick-up truck," says Cindy Blanchard, 40, who works at Shell's Muskeg River mine in the province of Alberta.

She works 12-hour shifts, days and nights, feeding the 24/7, 365-day oil sands industry which had been booming.
Kinda wondering though about 12-hour shifts, days and nights - like that doesn't leave time for sleeping.

Operator265 12-10-2008 10:07 PM

No it don't. And not a whole lotta time for posting when you do two extra days of over time.

Nope....this trend is as old as football...modern style, that is.

Well BILL on a starry starry night young men of California find it to their advantage to shave their legs for the manly game of football....plus it eases the crying when that adhesive tape comes off ;) .

I can't say that I am "proud" of the following action however I am always proud of my son. For about 10 years my son and several of his buddies have shaved their legs from the knees down in the summer.....they feel their legs look better w/o all that hair...I would :D laugh at them more but I have to say that the girls they married/dated are all really cute....must be something to it! I was making fun of my son one day a few years back about it and my (now) dil says...."I kind of like his legs smooth"...

Could Absinthe been a part of the problem ?

Operator265 12-11-2008 10:32 AM

Well, I'd love Theo too, or anyone else for that matter who spent their entire life babysitting my crazy a**.

No kidding! But Bill, with all of his rules, wants to keep us all on track. We'll see if he can find a topic. Ha!

alinnell 12-11-2008 12:37 PM

Ok, Bill, you're on.

We need a topic.

srmb60 12-11-2008 05:01 PM

What if the topic is topics? We'd probably get off track any way :D

Small minds bumble along bouncing back onto whatever the path they're on.

Profound minds seek the greater path - spiritual leaders, great political leaders.

But the most profound minds question the path itself, as SusanB has done. She sees the light. She is our leader. She will take us out of this place.

None of this Absinthe for me

No question about it. It may be OK for the teens, or so Nancy Reagan says, but Absinthe is NOT the solution for me. A man needs ****, and ****, and ****. Maybe the Cobra and the Mongoose even on that special occasion.

[Note to self: And you don't want anything to do with Absinthe either, do you, my sweet little green fairy.]

I put my lunch in the car when I went to turn it on. Do you think my banana will turn brown from the cold?

Susan wins the randomness award of the day. No, I don't think it will turn brown that quickly. But, you could always knit a little sweater for it, kind of like the ones that little dogs have to wear in winter.

bargoo 12-12-2008 09:10 AM

I was in the Pet Store waiting for the groomer and saw this sweater for dogs , on the front it says " Why don't cats have to poop outside ? "

Operator265 12-12-2008 11:20 AM

Cause Cats Rule and Dogs Drool!!!

Ya know, cats were worshiped as gods in Ancient Eqypt---and the cats have never forgotten it.

alinnell 12-12-2008 11:24 AM

Went to buy dog food yesterday and they had two GSDs for sale. Oh, puppies!

GatorgalstuckinGA 12-12-2008 11:51 AM

GSD puppies = poop and chews shoes. (even if they are cute)

alinnell 12-12-2008 11:57 AM

All puppies poop and chew shoes.

I've vowed never to get another puppy but oh, puppy breath is the best! Why is that?

bargoo 12-12-2008 12:09 PM

And that wagging tail!!

GatorgalstuckinGA 12-12-2008 12:20 PM

puppy breath is the best!

could we sell puppy breath perfume?

alinnell 12-12-2008 12:31 PM

There's got to be a big market for puppy breath perfume!

GatorgalstuckinGA 12-12-2008 12:48 PM

the market is down...makes for a bad economy

alinnell 12-12-2008 12:55 PM

I guess we'll just have to wait for a turn around before we get the product out to the masses!

Operator265 12-12-2008 01:09 PM

Get the product out now and stimulate the economy.

alinnell 12-12-2008 01:32 PM

But I'm nowhere near any puppy mills--how else to get the product? I don't even know of any puppies in my neighborhood. Once those little guys hit about 2 months old, the puppy breath is gone.

Slashnl 12-12-2008 02:00 PM

Do you think there would be a market for "Old Dog Breath"?

alinnell 12-12-2008 02:18 PM

If there were my Buddy would be a great contributor!!! Nothing better than a 14+ year old dog with some bad teeth hacking in your face. (He had several teeth pulled last year so it's actually better, but he's got laryngeal paralysis and hacks more than a cat with hairballs.)
