Up, up, up.

Have a tequila. It'll make things better.

Karen31 12-04-2008 11:15 AM

It's snowing here and 8 degrees!! Please pass the Tequila!!

alinnell 12-04-2008 11:23 AM

If you have a strict no games at work rule, you need to start your own business. Then you can play all day (like me).

Twilight~Jasper? What was he ON?

I'd think that at that temperature a hot toddy would do you better, Karen. It's 53 here this morning, but don't feel like tequila. I'll take the corona with lime or a Pacifico.

I just finished off a six pack of Pacifico yesterday that was left over from T-day. Nice thing about the holidays is that the X comes to visit and I get to have REAL BEER.:D

Yeah, you can't get the real stuff in Utah (or can you in a liquor store--I can't remember).

Operator265 12-04-2008 11:45 AM

You can somewhat, but it's a pain. My nearest store is closed for remodeling and I really don't driving 10 miles for a sixer. Plus it's freaking expensive. WY beer and liquor is much cheaper.

ForeverLove 12-04-2008 12:46 PM

haha i would start my own business but i'm 21, and a chemical engineer(kind of sort of seeing as i didnt graduate yet and this is a paid internship haha) sooo i dont think i would have a very good business going for me.

and you know what else is good in hot chocolate, whiskey, soundms weird but its yummy, i'll have to try the pepperment schnapps.

also, i loved jasper in twilight haha his faces were priceless, but as to what he was on, i'd like to know as well.

alright well i'm off to do some work for a while

Slashnl 12-04-2008 02:12 PM

Post 253... we are over half way through!

Bill! Where were you at post 250? You seem to be off your game.

BillBlueEyes 12-04-2008 03:39 PM

254 ...

pant, pant, ...

... 246 to go.

[Note to Self: OK, so game is a little off. Perhaps I need to figure out who this "Robert Pattinson" guy is about whom they endlessly jabber. Apparently his game is on. ]

luvmyinnerdemon 12-04-2008 03:44 PM

Haha Bill, Robert Pattinson was the actor who played edward in the movie twlight, based on like one of the best book series ever. Hes a hottie, though i dont remeber him being so hot when he played cedric digory in HP!

alinnell 12-04-2008 03:56 PM

I give you Robert Pattinson (aka eye candy).

Slashnl 12-04-2008 04:20 PM

No wonder they're calling Twilight the new breed of "chick flick". ha!

alinnell 12-04-2008 04:55 PM

Except this new breed of chick flick is most appealing to 12-14 year old girls!!

ForeverLove 12-04-2008 06:11 PM

and 20 somethings.

he was cute in HP but is wayyyyy better looking now. but anyways before i go getting all excited about robert pattinson i'm going to go do the 30ds..although thinking about robert pattinson could be some new motivation or something haha

EZMONEY 12-04-2008 09:31 PM

I lost Angie to "TWILIGHT" book #2 over Thanksgiving....she needed to finish it so she could talk with her 6th grade students....girls.... after the holiday....she refused to listen to them before about the book. She has #4 already but still not #3...

now back to corona....pacifico and tequila....

sure wish my Raiders would score a point or two in this game....did see my dil on the sideline in her boots and pom-poms though.

WebRover 12-04-2008 09:39 PM

Cheese Chili Rellenos

(by the way what are chili rejanos? I haven't seen those in Florida.)

ForeverLove 12-04-2008 09:42 PM

right. i could definitely use a corona and a beach right about now.

EZMONEY 12-04-2008 09:44 PM

Spelling on this thread is not a requirement WEB!!!

Angie and I are going for mexican food tomorrow night...anyone wanna join us?

YEAH!!! My Raiders just scored!!!!!

EZMONEY 12-04-2008 09:45 PM

corona in my fridge....beach less than 5 miles away....guest room vacant RANDI....

WebRover 12-04-2008 09:51 PM

Oh - I thought I was missing out on something.

Wait I am! google this
Tequila Chili Rejanos

(Uh oh, this might be on topic. There's tequila involved.)

EZMONEY 12-04-2008 09:59 PM

chili rellenos are my ex-wife's favorite

srmb60 12-04-2008 10:34 PM

If there's a dress code, spelling and standards .... I may have to find something else to do .....

Anybody got a corona while I think on that?

EZMONEY 12-04-2008 10:41 PM

why are you still up...no nursing duties?

srmb60 12-04-2008 11:39 PM

I'm still up because of nursing duty. Fessing up? I was posting at work. But I'm home now.

EZMONEY 12-04-2008 11:40 PM

Thanks...I will get off your back now....go hang up another Maurice poster.

srmb60 12-05-2008 12:25 AM

I'm just a man in the middle of a complicated plan .... sing with me now ... nowhere to turn to, nowhere to hide ....

BillBlueEyes 12-05-2008 05:14 AM

A man, a plan, a canal, Panama!

[ Ooops: I wrote that backwards ]

BillBlueEyes 12-05-2008 05:24 AM

275 ...

... 225 to go.

[ There. Back in the game. Who needs to compete with this Robert Pattinson guy. I bet he doesn't offer his spare bedroom to strange women on the Internet.]

ForeverLove 12-05-2008 08:14 AM

haha Gary I would love to come over after work for the corona and the beach, and Angie and I can talk about twilight haha

and bill, i wish robert pattinson would offer me his spare bedroom, that would be magical haha

alinnell 12-05-2008 12:07 PM

I breezed through all four Twilight books in less than 2 weeks. It probably helped that they're written for the YA crowd. But what does it say when DH took a month to read the first book?

Give me a tamale any day!!! Which reminds me, it's the Tamale Festival here this weekend. But I have to go to Fullerton.

Slashnl 12-05-2008 01:43 PM

Did you like the books, Allison? My 14 yo daughter wants them. I'm good with that!

Mmmm... chile rellanos/rejanos, tamales

alinnell 12-05-2008 02:10 PM

Oh, yes. She'll love them! My father-in-law even enjoyed them and he's pretty picky about his reading.

Where, oh where, should I go for lunch today?

WebRover 12-05-2008 07:26 PM

FIRE Day

3:35 am - Fire truck arrives at house caddy-corner from us and stays 1/2 hour.

11:00 am - Fire breaks out in boys' bathroom close to my daughter's class, school is evacuated to the football stadium for two hours.

3:30 pm - unscheduled fire "drill" at my DH's school.

That's it! Three in one day! Make that 1/2 day!
