i lived in vegas a few years ago for about 10 years, and if i remember right there is a motel 6 not too far from the strip on Tropicana ave...that might be a cheaper option for some..of course it wont have all the ammenities of the bigger casino/hotels, but for budgeting it works lol...
this sounds great for me... i was planning on flying back to the states around then to visit family for a couple months anyhow, so i could fly to vegas, do the whole 3fc thing, then after the week, rent a car and drive up to oregon...
just promise to keep me out of the MnM factory on the strip lol.. i love that place as it has every color mnm you can imagine...used to be my old stomping grounds lmao..how sad!!...but it is worth a look for gifts maybe lol

Hey when I got pregnant only gained 4 pounds the whole pregnancy...I lost alot of weight my first trimester (and it wasn't due to sickness).....I really put my mind to eating healthy and exercising...and that combined with the extra calories burned during the pregnancy really took off the weight.....I started gaining back after about the 5th month......So I gained everything I lost back plus 4 pounds....I thought it was pretty awesome to only gain 4 pounds during the whole thing....and once my daughter was born within probably 4-6 weeks I lost all the pregnancy stuff (swelling, bleeding, baby, placenta, etc.) I was down 40 pounds about 4 weeks after I had her.....of course stupid me I gained it all back and then some....kicking myself now!
I think we should just keep a small chat on this thread, or if this one "dies" start a new thread about a year before going. I'm so going to be there!!! I LOVE Vegas! I agree that I will have to wait to book until about a year/9months before I go.

What would everyone think about a PM or email list where we could sign up to be informed of any new updates? We would keep the chat thread of course, but this way no one would slip through the cracks if they happen to miss a new thread in a year or so.
If you are going to book a certain hotel, I say wait until about 5-6 months before the date and get a tally of all who would like to go - and see if you can get a deal.
There are many hotels that will offer you deals on 6 or more rooms. Unfortunately I'm not sure if you need to pay a deposit. But it never hurts to ask
