I have found that even if you take one flight there and a diffrent back its sometimes cheaper. I live in Illinois and flying out of Chicago to Las Vegas is cheaper than going to Florida or California. If you go to some travel sites if you find a deal you can save it and they cant change the price. I mean they will after a while but you have a week or so to buy it.
Flying into smaller cities tend to cost more.
I like the spa idea too! I always wanted to go to a spa. Wheres that spa in TN, Melissa? I can fly there and back for $120
See above link...it is called the Tennessee fitness Spa or something like that it is in Waynesboro, TN I think (which apparently is less than an hour away from me...LOL!)

Thanks for the info...I agree!

I will count up the votes again....I told everyone it would be close to 5pm CST when I would close this thread and count the votes; however, it maybe later as I forgot school started back today and I won't even be home by 5pm! I'm soooo silly sometimes :P

The vote really feels overwhelmingly VEGAS to me (without counting this is unofficial). I'm thinking we are all going to have to be responsible for booking our own vacation (flights, hotels, etc.) once all is decided......

I hope this is okay! I think we are going to be able to get some good deals though

Heather - I know you have been to Vegas a couple of times as well as a few others had mentioned on here they had as well.....is the food expensive......someone was telling me that there were buffets but they were like $25.00 per person...that is crazy! That would end up costing me $50.00/meal for me and my hubby that is $150.00 a day on food without snacks and extra drinks or anything.....that is more than what I would be spending on the hotel per night

What is everyone else's experience with food costs in Vegas?

Thanks all!! We are soooo close!

There are expensive places to eat and then cheap places to eat. They have subways and other places like that right on the strip too. I don't remember eating being anything really expensive there. I would just make sure you get a fridge in your room so you can have some of your own stuff. That place that I suggested had a full kitchen so that was REALLY nice. The hard Rock Cafe - which is near there, also had GREAT salads! I also stayed at the Excallaber and they had these little shops with GREAT salads...I want to say they were like 8 bucks a peice but SO worth that! The upstairs of Excallaber also had an eating area. They had a subway type place, mcdonalds (bad!) and other places like that up there.

Do you think we are all going to try and stay at the same place in Vegas?

I'm so excited! I love trips!
